how time flies... i could still remember what i was telling you when you first went to ocs. oh wow. 9 mths - the gestation period of a baby, of an officer - has passed, just like that.
anyway know your posting? or at least what you are going to be - instructor? pc? dy pso? and where?
anyway treasure your last days in ocs - those were really one of my best times there, apart from those times of suffering together with close friends. these last days are really the only days when a cadet can really relax and enjoy! like sinned, i could never forget the cpr. but even more, i could not forget the rehearsals - siong as they were, they were simply GREAT!
i had my close friends from ocs - we still go out together rather frequently, even though nsfs from my batch have ord-ed, some went to study, some started working, and the rest of us stayed in green. i hope you have yours too, and your bitter sweet memories to bring out of charlie wing.
my only regret - not to have taken more photographs over the 9 mths.
oh well...
once again, congrats! hope you will be the officer you always aspired to be, the officer for your men, of your men; the officer of the corp, for the country. -
i went for my cousin's commissioning and it rained! so disappointing all the parade that i was looking forward to was cancelled >.<
then everyone (the guys commissioning) was so disappointed that they even cried, and its like its only that 1 time and u dont get to have a chance to make up for it if it rains..then the atmosphere was like so sian, though they still have a small parade just for the parents and the award ceremony its still diff, they put in so much effort in practising for the parade.. -

at first it started raining and they wanted to start but end up there is thunder so they have to retreat plus it was during that time when there was this army guy that died because someone bullied him that matter..so they have to play safe..but its so sad le.. -
It was B E G 52/03 that rained heavily until it was cancelled lor...Prays that mine will be CAT 3 all the way.. thanks guys for your nice words... I certainly will become a good officer in the SAF. I will adhere to your encouragements and be a mentor to those who needs a helping well...

I realised how fast i have been surviving at OCS. All those excercies, those navexes, those live firings, those topo, those ET RUNS and SEOC.... They are finally coming to an end.... Its very sad though because the bonding between your platoonmates are very strong and difficult to break up.
Alas, i have to move on and venture on becoming a good commander for my "future men". PAC coming liao.. the swansong of it all
and remember to Sing the OCS song out as loud as possible...
u will see the diff singing it during rehearsal and during the actual day.
