  Got enlistment letter just now, they say i will be posted tp RSAF HQ YOUTH FLYING CLUB. where will be my five and the half day stay???? enlisting on 4th Oct

  so what planes does RSAF youth flying club operate?
  
  Spitfires? Hawker hunters? S-211?
  Cessna?
  
  or...maybe as a pretext...and as a upgrade..youth flying club switch to A-4 SU skyhawks..decomissioned and modifed for civilian purposes ^^

  Martin, if i'm not wrong, you will still go to Tekong for your 5.5 day induction program where you will be issued your gear. and yes, your head will probably get shaved.
  
  Funny tho', how is it that PES E personnel are told of their posting BEFORE enlistment and not on the final day of their induction program? Oh well, if you're happy with your posting so be it. Remember, don't waste your 2 years in there, go do something productive, be it in the SAF or on your own. Good luck! =)

  I remember going back to collect my erm IC on my last day when I saw this new guy in my Wing office..
  
  I realised he was a PES E inductee, but not having required to go thru the PES E Induction Course in Tekong(ALTHOUGH some of my other collegues did though).. He was not even in uniform(What i heard was he got his uniform [No. 3]much later)
  
  As for why he didn't need to go thru the course, I'm really not sure...
  
  Moral: You might not have to go for the Induction Course(posted direct to unit)..but dun quote me..I cannot be 100% sure..
