  Hmmmz.....MPs have concealed firearm?That time I was at my grandma's place,two of them came in the Temasek Green uniform with white helmet and all to arrest the neighbour as he AWOL for Reservist.Though they were in full uniform,I only recall seeing them armed with a pair of handcuffs and a baton or sumthing.But I was very sure,there was no holster and there was no SIG Sauer P226 nor was there any magazine pouches.
  
  Anyway,what about this...If this MP was out in public doing his duty.Then chances upon a SG police force officer being attacked,is the MP allowed to aid the officer or is he supposed to pretend that he never see anything?Just curious...

  He has to. Even if he's not obligated to do so out of duty (which I don't think is the case) he is morally obligated to do so.
  
  Even it's too risky for him to tackle the hooligans alone, he should at least call for reinforcements.
