Hahaha... this was roughly my result from 10 years ago. Been disrupted from reservist since. I probably can still meet the sit-up, shuttle run and broad jump. The rest... I have gotten a little heavy (put on about 15 lbs of weight).
Sit -up = 42
Broad jump = 230cm
Pull -up = 8
Shuttle run = 9.9 s
2.4 km = 12 mins
On 2 occassions I made the lower monetary award. But this was the result of last minute training in the 3 weeks before IPPT. -

Presently working - Incentive! (Ho, last one no count, 6 chin-ups!)

Me: Sgt, you try carry one GPMG and run, see how fast you can run...
That's the weight i gain since NSF days! 12kg!

Silver aiming to get gold on my next try

I met some Isrealis a few years back. They also have the same IPPT yearly tests for their reservists. We can take heart that we are not the only ones not very fit. They have the same problem motivating their reserve troops to exercise regularly.
But the issue that is important, as I learnt in reservist, and also hearing the combat experienced Isreali friends, are that we must keep up our endurance limits on our legs. Those in the infantry will know that if you can walk for miles and miles and go on little sleep and can carry on with the mission, this will make the soldier. The next important thing is to strengthen the back and shoulder muscles for humping loads around. The rest we can be weak in (e.g. shuttle run, broad jump...). -
damn...train like hell to get 9 min 44s for 2.4km...then kana fever...when i finally regain back to 9 min 44s standard...i hurt my shin...now recovering....damn damn damn
will throw away new balance 855 and buy myself a brooks beast next ! -
Average timing for 2.4 during NSF is 9:20.
First IPPT after NSF is 13++ for 2.4, vomit some more. Enuff said
