think the issue has been blown out of proportion.Originally posted by ah-soh:as we noe the relationships between taiwan roc n s'pore r very bad at the moment n they also brunt our flags
do u think that saf should suspends all their trainings and activities in roc as to protest taiwan's action?
It sounds weird having this kind of military relations with a communist country.Originally posted by SibeiSuayKia:got free place to make use..why not??
we go to hainan island train lar..no problem..furthermore..hainan island got some airstrip facilities and even if a war happens..
TW won't strike Hainan island 1...Hainan island is also nearer to SG..
our SAF troops are our utmost priority when it comes to safety..
Shouldn't train with them..
coz if fighting occur due to the burning of sg flag...

If I was not wrong one of the reasons that S'pore set up its own armed forces is to fight against the communists.
However I do think that maybe it would be more appropriate if SAF suspends its ROC trainings till things had turned better.
