The Air Force called me today and...

  they knew that i am interested to be a pilot and the female officer who called mentioned something about going to the
  BMT recruitment talk
  then got 1 application form
  ask me to write my tekong school and company and then
  they will try to liase with the company and stuff to get me out of there...
  
  i'm puzzled.
  
  so here are my qns..
  
  1) Whats the BMT recruitment talk ?
  
  2) The Application form ?
  
  3) If they get me out of tekong then will i do Pilot BMT ? or izzit i finish BMT then go pilot selection ?

  1. The Air Force will visit your camp and give a talk.
  
  2. The application form will be given out during the recruitment talk.They'll then fix appointments for medical checks,aptitudes tests and an interview for you.
  
  3.No. You will go through the BMT in Tekong.You will only be considered for Pilot vocation ONLY if you make it to OCS.(in addition to you passing the medicals,tests and interview.)

  the first thing is very importrant... the computer simulation tests will check whether are you cut to become a pilot or not, they wanna see whether you have the gift of picking information & learn fast, limbs coordination.. I remembered the test lasted about 3hrs

  good to hear that cuz i didnt really understand the instructions for 1 particular section of the computerised test during the pre-enlistment checkup.. think i screwed that up

  Don't worry.
  
  For you,what's most important is that you do well in BMT and make sure you get to OCS.You have to be OCS calibre before they can even consider you for the pilot's vocation.

  it's more like if u get selected for pilot, u'll have a very high chance of getting into OCS as long as u're not super cock-up...
