just wanna let all those who are planning to sign on as regulars under these schemes:
A small price has to be paid lah which means that u cannot afford to fail any subjects. If fail(touchwood), after the second attempt if u fail(touchwood) again, den they will kick u out and u will have to compensate mindef. The amount u receive and plus the interest. The interest is dependent on the type of scheme u sign. The interest for JPSDS is higher than the ITE scheme, although i am not sure the exact %. -

but for JPSDS, if u pass all subjects or modules in a semester, u get an additional $1200 bonus..
needless to say, u cannot get yourself into any trouble with the law also.. -

Green Ic ? is it an army ic or wad? -

u get bounded under all the rules of being a soldier... short hair, pass IPPT every year, apply for exit permit if going overseas, etc etc...
but u do not need to go back to camp or your unit or wateva, (cannot go also)...
all ya army stuff will come when u finish ya study lor... how? i dunno, coz i haven got to that stage yet... -

if u wanna join then hurry! coz it took me about 4-6months to finish the above mentioned process..

After N must prepare for O, so chop chop finish applying then can concentrate on O liao. Mother tongue paper in June leh for O.

After N is mid Oct, if ITE start in Jan, still got some time. But I'm not sure leh, can someone more experienced give advice a not?

the mentor is a person in charge of u one. u got any problem u can tell him. i always meet my CO(not sure whether is he considered the mentor) during my school vacation. -

After finish studies will he still be my mentor if i in NS?
