yup, after u sign on, u must report back to ur base during ur long vacation after every sem. u need to let him know ur results, u actually do not need to bring ur result slip over to him. he will check with ur school personally so tat there's no way of cheating. i tin a pass should be enough as long as u dun fail, everything should be fine.Originally posted by SerialBox:Report To BASE???

if u fail(touchwood), he will only tell u to study harder for the nxt exam. he wouldn't scold u. oso, if u fail, u can forget about collecting money for the nxt sem. if u fail(touchwood) again, den i tin he will call u up personally to ask u y u fail. den if suay enough, mindef may have to kick u out of SAF and u may have to compensate dem back with interest. if i am not wrong, i tin the interst rate for SISS students are around 5%. -

no visits to camp or wateva... basically no military activities until we finish our 3-yr study... -

besides, u wun have much to talk to him one lah. only if u have some problems den u go approach him to talk to him loh. If u have no problem, den after u report there, i tin maybe 1 hr later, u can leave liao.
For ur info, last time when i report back to base, we just have to fill up a piece of form and later after that, sayonara! take less dan 1hr if dey can do things faster -
The front part is fast, very fast, u go for napfa medical interviews, all very close to each other, den u wait damn long for them to confirm whether if u r in or not. ANS:when they ask u to go contract signing, that means u're in lor... about 2-3 weeks after medical checkup... normally they send letters 2-3 weeks b4 the the appointment date also...

ANS: Yes! but they muz be below 50 years old (if i didnt rmb wrongly), hold a steady job, and cannot be a guarantor for another person at the point in time... so when u ran away, the SAF wont be chasing after an old man or woman, or 1 w/o much money.. haha... the guarantor can be anyone above 21 yrs old, not necessary to have blood relations..... my guarantor are my 2 uncles...
