Saw 2 Military Traffic Police today and got me thinking, what is the exact role that they play in the SAF besides escorting the "Tua Liaps" in the army

So they catch SAF ppl violating traffic rules? .....Eh? Our Traffic Police also doing that wat...you mean Traffic police cannot stop Military vehicles one ah?
If they are doing what traffic police are doing, aren't they doing double work? That is why it got me thinking, what is the actual role they play in the SAF.
Any ORDed or current MP can help to answer?

i think u get the whole idea wrong already.
MP is MP. they are not traffic police. well, maybe they do traffic control once in a while, but traffic controlling is definately not their main job scope.
what u see are MP riding on motorbikes right? that is their transportation. they rode their bike for official bussiness to different camps. not necessary a person in uniform riding on a bike means he's a traffic police. -

The bike is just transport.
If they feel like it, they can stop a military vehicle, check your log book for discrepancies, does the Traffic Police do that? -

I guess they don't stop people in Staff Cars.
Hitched a ride with my friend who got permission from his boss (ACGS) to use his staff car. At a particular camp, got "road block". 5 Tonners, L/Rs, GP Cars got stopped but i wonder why the MPs let us go
