As the movie implied. It means enemy aircraft sighted (supposedly a bane for field artillery). There's a drill the gunners are supposed to execute upon the warning, which was basically fanning out, sit or lie down facing the flight path & then firing the M16s into the sky. Is it practical/realistic? Beats me.
Appended: How can forget this one - the legendary-famous, homegrown-classic "No smoking inside jungle" lecture. [First heard it myself in '79 during Sec. 1 NPCC; Jack Neo/Siva Choy/Kumar also told variations of it in their comedy routines later.]
