i dunno. must refer to the GOMs. but there certainly is no requirement to do so, even when one is in uniform outside. (unlike recruits who are supposed to have their jockey caps on outside if unsheltered). so there really is no reason for one to have his beret on. he could just put it on his shoulder if he wants to let the whole world see it, and THAT is already quite.. ermm.. weird.Originally posted by Kaczynski:Haha...Pride mah...
Anyway, is it any offence to wear the head dress outside of camp (when i No. 4)? I drove past Khatib area and saw a guy donning his Khaki beret walking around...
Hmm...Dunno neither...Since he has the Khaki beret, i guess he deserves the right to show it...Originally posted by wuming78:i dunno. must refer to the GOMs. but there certainly is no requirement to do so, even when one is in uniform outside. realli? but do u ever see people going to work wearing beret while they are in uniform? i guess if u r rite, then the same "under shelter no need head dress" rule applies.Originally posted by Joshua1975:it is an offence NOT to wear head dress in any uniform be No. 3 or 4. that is if the MPs is around.
it your luck to meet a MP and he caught you for not wearing head dress....
Most of the time i see them wear jockey cap even though they got beret. I oso prefer to wear jockey cap..Originally posted by wuming78:realli? but do u ever see people going to work wearing beret while they are in uniform? i guess if u r rite, then the same "under shelter no need head dress" rule applies.
They used to say that have not heard anyone got caught for that offence yet. Last time used to go CMPB everyweek also did not bring any head dress, don't even talk about wearing them, the MP there also did not say anything.Originally posted by wuming78:realli? but do u ever see people going to work wearing beret while they are in uniform? i guess if u r rite, then the same "under shelter no need head dress" rule applies.
