In my opinion, dun look at company. Its more essential to focus more on product and see how it can benefit you rather than go tackle issues about how someone manage a company. Cause there'll be no end. Its a general rule that you cannot please everyone. No matter where you go, or what you do, someone will have something to say and they can always find things to say. If that's the case, than why bother? (hahaha)
And anyway, magnetic therapy is just an alternative medication and it first derive from sports medication. Cause many people who suffer from sports injury not only find it hard to recover from their injury but it also takes a long time.
The reason why i did so much research was because my granny is a stroke patient. During her days of stroke, thee doctors could not do anything about it and it left my dad no choice but to seek alternative help. My dad bought a similar mattress (i shall nt name which co is from) and my granny have been using it ever since. Till now, she has not have any relapse for the past 1 and a half year. That's what we are more concern with. Her blood pressure also becomes more regulated.

people take to different treatments differently.
e.g.
some people lose weight eating Subway's 6 grams of whatever sandwiches, some don't.
ok... so who are the local peddlers of magnetic therapy systems?

all forumers should assist to compile a list of companies so that those interested to try out the product side of things (like raitoh2007, etc.) with these companies just need to refer to this list & shop around for something relevant to a condition you're thinking of treating.
as for the revenue side of things, it'd be advisable to stay away from these companies' infamous negative rep as product marketers / promoters... as its reputation(s) will surely not help your "business" venture.
perhaps expend efforts marketing products & services with other (more) credible companies.

Magnetic therapy in general is a proven alternative. It's had proven to reduce backpain, etc etc. However if the particular company is selling mattress with magnetic therapy, you will have to check if the magnets they are using produce that kind of medical effect.
NWM, i may have a wrong impression, but from your posts, seems like you have something against, EY, VE, DW, etc etc. Local companies. is it? -

Thanks for the info, but i disagree with you when u asked me not to look at the company. Eg; a company infamous for selling fakes, now sells branded.
If i follow yr advice, i may be buying something which doesnt suit my objectives.

(btw are you for/against network marketing; and are you for/against the local co's infamous biz practices?)
actually we disagree with:
1) negative business practices & tactics (which thus far has been mostly with the local co's).
2) "oddball" products which produces its "benefits" based on the placebo effect (which again are the types sold by local setups).
3) "non-consumable " products (like mattresses, etc) resulting in negative mlm business practices of (a) extremely high "buy-in" prices, & (b) because of "non-consumability" new "customers" almost always need to be found if one intends to "earn back" their business "investment".
anyway, we had relented that perhaps there is something about energy-therapy that is beneficial, and that it might be okay merely for people to make purchases from these co's (& not get involved in "business" )... and yet raitoh2007 has just revealed on the above "fake products".
this will pretty much cancel out any (minute) positive hope in dealing with the local co's.
where will the negative biz practices of the local co's stop?? -

when i say company, i actually mean in terms of management. Cause majority of the arguements in here are targeted at the company's management and certain people. Thererfore, it may not be an objective view to judge on their prods. Like what i've mention in my previous posts, the products sold in MLM companies are really not bad. But it just that they are being paid in a commission structure that will cause individuals to make silly mistakes and decisions just to hit their quota and raise up to their next position. But it doesnt mean that their prod is not good.
Rather i agree with the previous forumer who mention that we should complied a list of what all the MLM companies are selling and let people who are keen in getting them decide for themselves where to get them. (EG: If Owell is selling magnetic bracelets at $300 plus, and i can get the same bracelet at a local MLM company for $200 plus, than i might as well get it from the local company.)Originally posted by raitoh2007:Hi,

If EY can earn alot of money, do you still think all of them will still leave??? The fact that a person leave a co is becos they cannot give what the distributors want while another co can. If EY SDMs all are earning 50k to 100k mthly then i can strongly said that they wont leave so easily. The fact that even SDMs earn peanuts there is the last straw for them. I am interested in EY becos some of my friends are there before and i want to see how their future unfolds because no other MLM co is as eventful and storyful as them, so many upheavals! Did you mean 5k to 10k? Cos I am not sure if any SDM can even regularly hit past the 10k mark leh....

that is the big problem of them, just now when i taking mrt, a malay boy think around 20 or early 20s with his friend also board the train with me. He intro to his friend his co 6 yrs ,still small and pioneering, his co CA is a gal and very smart can earn it, they do business, so no need pay income tax, cpf pay by himself, a smart option and blah blah....... does this sound familiar? Hmm....their script just never change and think that they even start touching the malay market where most of the trainings i know are in chinese or hokkien, i wonder how they understand and learn?

I guess what EY is good at is getting brainwashed kids to shell out hard-earned cash given to them by their parents or earned by themselves for some magnetic mattresses that are not proven and extremely marked up. I did a check on google and realise that these guys are selling dubious quality stuff at 5-6 times the market rate.
I guess they might face a problem if some of their smarter guys start questioning the origin as well as authencity of the products and by doiung independent research.

Even then the cost price is still very much lower. I think EY should have some form of excellent convincing to their distributors about the mark-up, like % is cost price and certain % is PV which totally assures them that it is a low exaggeration.
Last time my friend jio me join some magnetic co., their bedsheet selling around $1500, and later when he left he disclosed to me that the admin told him the cost was less than $50!!! Let's see...
Wow....$1500 - $50 = $1450
Even with PV payout
$1500 x 2/3 = 1000PV, $500 is confirmed profit.
Assume 65% of PV is payout, still got $350 is confirmed profit.
Total profit: $500+350-50=$800 into the company's pocket! How many bedsheets does a magnetic bedsheet company sell a month? 300?
A cool 240,000 easy - no wonder all these companies' bosses bragging about themselves being millionaires...tsk tsk tsk
The enlightening moment will come when the get-rick-quick distributors realise their own families and friends are paying for their paycheck, and even more so to those above them

I heard Andrew has no downlines yet is the top man in EY? Can someone explain? Is he moving to VE soon?
He got his SDM position because at that time, the company is facing crisis. 4 star SDM Lim boon hong pulled away the majority of the people to nuskin, hence to stabilise the company, boss raymond lim promote andrew to SDM. However, this news is discreet.
As for his 1st star and 2nd star, they were put under him by raymond. In fact, the 1st star chaoyuan was already a 1 star SDM long long before andrew became SDM. Chaoyuan even have another SDM in her team then.
As for andrew's 2nd star, wenhe, it was put under andrew by raymond also.
Andrew's third star, pauline, was the only original andrew's downline that he recruited. She is his gf. Even then, Pauline also did not promote to SDM via the normal way. Andrew pool several of his pass distributors under pauline, helping pauline to become SDM. -

Aiya, those are examples I heard. But yes they did say andrew own a condo, pauline staying with him. His porsche is very old. He got it then send to a garage for refurnishing, but its still a porsche. I'm just saying that all the $ they used to do such things may not fully be from their earnings in enyouth. Of course they got method to get around moonlighting lah. He's not the first regular moonlighting what. Several in his group also regulars. Other companies also have dozens if not more. There are also foreign students on scholarship, employees of companies whose employment contract say cannot moonlight, people bonded by whatever.... but all moonlighting.
Not sure as to how they do it, but am sure someone from the company or someone very familar with enyouth, ve, etc can enlighten us. -

Not really. EY has this thing called the smartshopper application which certifies that you're only a shopper at that company. Whatever you buy, you buy for yourself. Yeah as if you need thousands of health mags for yourself. That's why ah wui, as ey-ers affectionally call him, can still work there. In fact there are quite a number of SAF regulars in EY.

Regarding the ISO, I don't think they faked it. It's actually pretty easy to get an ISO and there are different categories of ISO.
Just want to say a word of warning to all out there. EY is not a good company to join. I'm not saying it cons people, but it is full of hypocrites and all-too-fake enthusiasm that's out to blind the eyes of new-comers. I should know, cuz i was actually pretty hot and enthu in the beginning.
Here's why:
1. The products are way over-priced. Charging $2800 for a Queen and $3100 for a king is cimply outrageous. Why is it so expensive? Its MLM darling, all the bloody levels between you and the boss needs a share of the pie, hence the price.
2. What can I say? The company are full of shallow people and hypocrites, who preach that members should join with the mindset that you're bringing health to the people you sell these things to, and bring success to your downlines. But every single day they pester you with F***ing irritating one-liners like "How much do you want your car? How much do you want to earn back your capital? How much do you want this? How much do you want that? But I don't see you fighting hard enough for that leh! yada yada blah blah blah."
Bullshit.
3. EY is one orchestrated symphony of excuses and justifications. If you feel bad selling a 3000 bucks mattress to your financially distraught uncle, don't. Because hey! You're helping him get healthy! And don't worry just ask your friend to come down! But before that pls drop by the office to get more bullshitters and liars to stay and help you blind your friend. You can't do it alone man. You need all the DMs and SDMs who're experienced in the misguided company policy to help you talk. Just in case your friend is too smart and manages to retort everything, changing your mind along the way.
All in all, I'm not saying all MLM companies are not up to standard. MLM is actually a brilliant and revolutionary marketing strategy. Just make sure you check out the product and the company carefully first.

Ya, heard from friend they teach alot of manipulation techniques. The newbie will then feel honored and have enormous respect for the 1st DM, and will listen to whatever the 1st DM says, and will go all out for sales, by hook or crook.
But the true agenda is the newbie's upline may not hit whatever target he has to hit (car, promotion, etc).... Heard most of the time the DM (1st DM) dun even know the newbie, it's all pre-arrange by the uplines.
When the newbie is old enough in the company, he'll know about these methods, and felt cheated. A DM will then come over and sayang more saying the heart is important, by doing all that more people actually get to use the magnetic mattress hence promoting their health etc etc etc.
