Now, there we have it, an actual testimony of a VE agent who learnt it thru the hard way. Bro, dun worry too much, as treat it as a bad experience, and never give up on life.
There's bound to be failures and successes, and at least, u've learnt that some people cannot be easily trusted, even ur good friends. MLM would totally change a person's mindset and perceptive of life (I'm being neutral here, not saying whether it's for the good or bad), and u can't treat ur frenz who entered into MLM as the same frenz they were few yrs ago.
Pick up ur life, juz go thru ur education once again, get back into ur frenz' and relatives' good books by publicly declaring u're not wif VE anymore and apologize fer ur past actions, and importantly, try ur best to FORGET the whole stint in VE.
Now, as fer those VE agents who're raving abt their cool frenz they made in MLM, such as Mr enquiries, I wonder whether ur MLM frenz are really that exceptional and actually cares abt ur future, whether or not u bring in sales, or they're like the stereotype that the dude mentioned? Manipulating and hypocritical? :S -

It's kinda ironic that u stated explicitly in ur initial post, that u're aware tt u were exploited by ur boss, and their attitude towards u depended on ur level of sales ie. hypocrisy, and tt u regretted ur stint in VE overall, and now, u're asking a VE guy (possibly as hypocritical as ur boss) to evaluate ur situation, and (still) ignorantly blaming urself for the situation tt u're in now. U're neither stupid or weak. At least in the strict sense of the words. Wad I can say is tt u're stupid enough initially to trust ur coursemate to join his MLM company. That's all. Besides tt, I'm glad u see the disadvantages of MLM and got out of it before ur life really gets out of hand. It could be much worse than just merely, relatives ostracizing u, and bosses giving u the f-uped look, and wasting a year of studies.
Bro, waste no more time tinking back wad went wrong. Maybe VE was reali f-uped, or at least the team tt u're in. Or even maybe u partly at fault fer being incompetent. But looking back do u no good. Why not juz let everything go, and start life anew, get back into a good relationship wif ur relatives n study hard to get ur degree? Juz my 2 cents. -

Well, I dun understand why u're so concerned abt their opinions abt u. Fer sure, they'll call u a weakling fer quitting. Tt's natural cos' they want to shift the blame solely to u, instead of reflecting on themselves (esp. ur direct superiors) where they've went wrong.
Well, if they aren't ur gd frenz, I realli see no concern fer ya to be worried abt wad they tink abt u. (which I believe so, I doubt any 2 MLMers can be absolute best frenz w/o the fear at the back of their minds who'll be more successful, who'll haf the guts to backstab etc.)
