find a distributer which earn that much, besides VE.non-mlm companies, distributors has to depend and pay their empoyees... They have a limited 'budget' to start off with... VE management doesn't, they depend all on their individual distributors...
One more thing, VE and mlm co.s have a larger and warmer market to sell to... So, even if the price is high, usually, the customers will not mind... As the sale is not just base on the product, but also on trust...
A non mlm distributor would have a harder time selling it to their cold market as no trust was initially build... Therefore, they can't set the price to that, customers would look at pricing...
By the way, VE has a lot of things to pay, the Car Achievers, managers bonus etc... not to mention admin staff and rent of office and warehouse, shipping etc... It's not as if all these came for free... Plus, like other businesses, we need profits...

The products too have a part... The impt factor is trust... Lets say I try and sell the product to a stranger, would they even listen a little? They don't know me, they don't have to listen to me...But for family, when you want to sell, though they initially are not interested, the would give you the chance to present and at least they listen to you...

Lets say you sell the exact same thing to the customer, with the price of 1:2 and VE sells it (as you claimed) sells it at 1;4...
