SE Merchants get the following perks:-For the EmCall component, the SG's GP offered 4 years of EmCall service, which is 48 mths. Each mth gives a total of 2100min. Most telcos offer an outgoing call rate of around S$0.15-S$0.20 per min, for EmCall the rate is quoted at S$0.12/min.
I like to retort here...
Total value of the EmCall would then be : 48 mths x 2100min x S$0.12/min = S$12096.
Add that to about S$1000 worth of Mall Points, that would be in excess of S$13,000 where you pay about a thousand less.

fact: You are quoting wrongly. Emcall is a callback system, not the usual outgoing call plan. Most telcos charges for outgoinging calls (using free-incoming callback) $0.03/min... way much cheaper. Take a look at these 2 examples:
- phoenixcomms.com.sg charges 0.03 cents per min.
- telcom1515.com charges 0.033 cents per min.
And besides, who would want to purchase 2100mins of outgoing calls?? Most people uses free incoming calls to make cheap outgoing calls to save money. So now we have Merchants paying upfront of $12,000 just to make outgoing calls???? My whole M1 bill don't even exceed $80!
The only person that win BIG is the Telco company who is providing SE merchants with this service. And guess who is the sole Owner??? JP! Add that to about S$1000 worth of Mall Points
Yah... Emall is currently disabled from any sales, and the products are usually overpriced.
But most importantly, those SE Merchants that repurchased the GPs, will be buying many times the telcos 2100mins plan for every GP they purchase.
So if I have 10 GPs, I would have purchased 21,000 mins of outgoing calls per month!
And I am supposed to earn as a MERCHANT?????? -
there is no way that the MAS or CAD will let go of this matter just like that.
the repercussions is that future mlm companies repeat the entire saga and with the current precedence will cause a furore in our economy and our good citizens.
i mean if they can get away with it, who is to stop another 10 or 20 companies doing the same thing??? so i don't believe whatever the SEA said about the CAD dropping it case etc etc... and it is also still reflected so in their website.

Yes, you are correct to point out that Emcall is a callback service. A typical callback service rate for Singapore is 5.5 cents (post paid). 12 cents is way too high, no one will buy it in the real mkt, only suckers agents are doing that.

Here's my input on the Melaka Theme Park Project.
The location in the Presentation Video showed the wrong location when compared to actual site/map location.
I believe that because Google Earth did not have a clear view of the beach they acquired, so EPV chose 1 location that is convenient and plot everything there. Very irresponsible, in my opinion.
I am also unable to get a exact layout of the whole theme park design. The building position changes.
Also, from Firstmillionchallenge a Matthew Tan Yew Hock seem to think that land reclaimation has already started. The news video was only showing a general development of Malacca shoreline. It is not EPV land reclaimation.Malacca Marine Theme Park Projects

The piling rigs may have moved in. But what are they piling?
The signboard showed the Sunshine Villa, which is right behind the theme park. But the building according to the plan in my above illustration, it is to the right of the theme park. So what are they actually piling if the location the piling machines are at currently, at is not the building location?
Based on current knowledge and on-site location mapping, the red triangle showed the actual piling machines location.
And without a proper piling plan, they may be just parking there!
Is it to satisfy a clause in their FAQ (http://www.empirepropertyventure.com/etp-inserts/faq_eng_261007.pdf) that read:
13. Why should I select to pay 3% or 5% installment plan, when construction stage of pilling work not complete yet?
In my opinion, EPV should finalise everything and correct all erroneous videos and photos immediately. -

This is the same as what is shown in the Malaysia Papers. I crop the photo:-
It would be that the 2 19 storeys tall Service Suites Buildings and Convention Centre will be built on 30 acres of reclaimed land.
The land has yet to be reclaimed and the artist hasn't even drawn it yet. Just look at the left building foundation.
Anyone knows how long it takes to reclaim a land the size of 1200 units of 100sqm HDB flats laid side by side? And how much longer after reclaimation does one have to wait before we can built 19 storeys buildings on it?
I must also add that the beachline where the reclaimation will take place also runs along to other sea-resorts and condos, like Shah Beach Resort, Ocean Palms Condo, Klebang Beach Resort, Riveria Bay Resort etc.
Maybe some implications there as well.
The water isn't clear already as it is within industrial & Straits water. -
Also, the only confirmed building we have is the Empire Sunshine Villa at Lot 129.
The land which the Service Suites hasn't existed yet, and the Empire Marina Villas to be built at sea, has also no existence yet.
So rightly now the 'button' on the 'Pricelist' for both projects (http://www.empirepropertyventure.com/projects.html) cannot be 'clicked.
I managed to save a copy before pricelist for the Service Suite was taken off-air. Here is the pricelist, with the red colored denoting sold units.
Amazingly, almost all units have been sold when the land hasn't even existed yet!!!! -

My Malaysian Friends said the signboard still is the same, as of last weekend.
The Piling machines are idling. I also showed in my photo that the Empire Sunshine Villa is out of the current hoarding location, and the piling machines are at a location that is a no-building land. (Red Triangle).
The artist illustration here is also inaccurate. the Service Suites to the left has simply been cut and paste onto the plan. The jetty for the ancient ship has been crushed.
Again I urge EPV to correct the drawings and seeing tha so many units have been booked, with the instalment of a minimum $10,000 per unit starting 1 month after booking the units, it must be worrying for anyone to see my findings.
I know many people look at the Malacca project as investment. But you can't resell something base on a video, you need a real apartment on a real piece of land. Currently, you have sea water. -
Remember the news clip about the reclamation works? I believe those large machines are for large scale reclamation, not for small scale works.
Are they still selling internally? Such a small pool of "buyers" and strangely all sold? -
Yes, the land reclamation shown is not the EPV's one. They are from a large scale land reclamation project that I have indicated in my earlier post.

all am seeing is 4-5 very anti-sse occupying this entire thread discussion, the ppl from sse doesnt wan to bother about this thread anymore.
From wat i conclude from this thread is that sse is all over asia region, they are still operating their business, just that sg acc has been frozen :/.
and also make me wonder do u guys do all this just to kill time? but it seems that u guys are spending way too much time on this..lol
or are u all the "justice" people? then should try to investigate from all area, not rely on others to give info :/. go to their emcom in taiwan, property HQ and etc. that would be a very great help to this people who are looking at this thread.

The internet is a powerful tool that bypass all land boundaries.
I can talk to anyone anywhere in the world instantenously without even stepping out of the house.
Similarly, information and be shared, or verified as long as it is placed in the world wide web.
SE would have to provide concrete evidence, not great show of words, not videos and beautiful photos of products that is only a projection into the future.
Please understand.
The age of information sharing is here and absolutely no information existed on current SE website about the projects they are offering. -
Actually, there is only 2 possibilities for the entire Sunshine Villa bldg to shift from 1 point to another..

1) As I wrote earlier, the Sunshine Villa moved out of its current hoarding.
The second one may be equally possible.
2) The Sunshine Villa is still at its correct place, as the signboard is still there.
But that means.......
There is a possibility that the negoiation for the reclaimed land right infront of the villa building failed.

I believe he or the Press must have make a mistake in the numbers because 69ha is one-third the size of Sentosa.
