Hmm, *rubs chin*Originally posted by heaVen_buBBles:From what I've checked, HSA is more for canned food and it's more important to have the singpore's PSB report for medical, cosmetics and aroma products.
Btw, I was just shocked to see the NTI's aroma diffusers selling there and at a cheap rate... I'm also interested in Belair's products so please let me know if there's anything you found out.. thanks...
Their website has quite limited information and the topic you mentioned I've read too...Originally posted by laurence82:Hmm, *rubs chin*
HSA claim to do checks on health care and skincare stuff, and PSB more on quality checks, even on stuff like electrical items and I think on manufacturing practices, and even on food poisoning cases.
Well, might as well have those two certifications, be more kiasu a bit.

Oh yah, I have a friend in Belair, but he is studying overseas, you can check out their website, and there is a topic around here in Kopitiam.
Hello.. It is stated in the cover that it is used in New York, Paris and another place, which I have forgotten.. Anyway, it's just a cover.. The package include 4 stuff.. The cleanser, Toner, Lightening UV shield and Lightening Oxygen Emulson.. I am using it now.. I would say, its quite ok.. Just that I am not sure about the origin and dont know whether if it's overpriced.. Please advice.. Thank..Definitely it is OVERPRICED! i get the following items at least 6 times more with tat kind of price.!
mmm... I guess those products are really overpriced.. Too bad, I have bought it, and have to finish it so as not to waste them.. On your no. 3 point, I think that is what I feel that is lacking in NTI.. They just talked to me about the product and of course plans, without actually demonstrating to me about it.. Sigh.. I realized it too late..Originally posted by SongBoz:Definitely it is OVERPRICED! i get the following items at least 6 times more with tat kind of price.!
1 different skin type has different skin condition, what is good to u maynot be good to someone else. it will be questionable if they package them into a price.
2. these items cant be that expensive based on my experience, even companies selling premium product, would not sell so expensive for such products. think again it is 4 for $288!
3. Usually skin care products. there might be a lot of product demonstration or training for its distributors on wat usage and some other procedures of apply it on ur skin.
4. From what i learnt, oxygen is supplemental to the skin. you will feel cooling when apply it. What the skin really need is water (H20)
it will be easier for u to ask me more questions, if u have anything..
Regarding the O2xy8 product which they are selling, they do specify the ingredients in another piece of card and in another booklet which talked about the product.. But there is not information as to where it is made and the address of this O2xy8 company... I can only see this "Imported & Exclusively Distributed by Niutrend International Pte Ltd" on the piece of card..Originally posted by SongBoz:it is important to list down all the product specifications in the product itself.
If the product is not labelled with the specific ingredients, we can truely say that the product has not gone through the Ministry of Health for examination or product testing. becos certain ingredients are definitely banned in singapore...
ANy product must need a ingredients specifications in ORDER TO SELL.. tat all i can say!
Hmm, i am confused.Originally posted by SongBoz:it is important to list down all the product specifications in the product itself.

Hi, I really think you have mistaken.Originally posted by laurence82:Hmm, i am confused.
Whereas the brain says HSA doesnt endorse (actually i was thinking along the line of approval), there must be a testing and approving authority for health and skincare products coming into Sg, like AVA test agriculture produce and Spring SIngapore test electrical stuff. HSA (according to website) do test health and medicinal products,
In order for these approved products to be sold in Singapore, shouldnt they have certification of approval for sale, or at least HSA(or whichever approving authority) keeps a list of approved products for reference with public, without issuing certifications? For me, I will go dig it up regarding the certifications I seen.Either they are certifications or they are letters of correspondence,
the ingredients used are stated...just that it is not on the bottles but on a piece of paper in the bag provided, as well as in the catalogue thingy.Originally posted by SongBoz:a good and honest company will eventually list down all the ingredients of its products. Skin care products is a sensitive products and therefore it will be ideal for them to list down everything. Some people have allergies to some chemical or herbs being used.
If the products or the company doesnt emphasize on such specifications, it might be fishy..!!

I realized it too late..it will be best that u can list down all the ingredients mention above. even though i am a marketing student, i think can still abt to answer ur doubts of the product itself, with the rich knowledge about medical herbals i have.
Anyway, I also noticed that on the bottles, they only display the name of the products and some description.. Cos I have noticed that in some other products, like dermalogica skin care products, there are a lot of information available, like where it is made from, the serial no., some have barcodes.. I would like to know, are these information not neccessary to appear in every product, or MLM products dont require these details? Hope you can advice me on that.. Thanks a lot..
the ingredients used are stated...just that it is not on the bottles but on a piece of paper in the bag provided, as well as in the catalogue thingy.i understand ur concern. i learnt from my mentor, who is a doctor. He mentioned that behind every products should stated wat are composition of all ingredients. by writing on another piece of paper, cannot prove that particular products DOES HAVE these specifications written down! They are smart to make that move, and they will eventually get away easily. The booklets being given should involved all the standard procedures in apply it (Skin care products) and not specifications on ingredients. So gentlemen, look out for these things.. whether the government check or nt is another matter.
effective or not? yeah, like some of u mentioned, it depends on the individual's skin type.
and not to flame this company, in my opinion, if u really want good skincare products, they should be recommended by dermatologists who knows ur skin well instead of u buying products off the shelves.
Here is what that is written on the separate card.. Hope can get some advice..Originally posted by SongBoz:it will be best that u can list down all the ingredients mention above. even though i am a marketing student, i think can still abt to answer ur doubts of the product itself, with the rich knowledge about medical herbals i have.
On top of that, the reason for why they didnt strongly emphasize on their products, is tat they wanna use the strategy of MONEY. to blind ur concious mind. therefore, when seeing $$$, u will eventually falls on to their psychological trap.. as simple as that..
You are not the only one being deceived.. my suggestions is that you better stay away from the company. NTI is truely not a good company to stay or work for. Try companies that are more transparent!
Urm, but I do find many reputable products sold either sold in retails stores or in direct selling companies that uses separate booklet to explain the ingredients or composition of the products. Some do not have the contents written on their bottles or box, but in small booklets in the box, like Brand Essence of Chicken type, or in a booklet, brochure or product guides detailed to explain the contents, source of products etc etc.Originally posted by SongBoz:i understand ur concern. i learnt from my mentor, who is a doctor. One thing i know for sure is that, the company still can be able to import goods that cant be sold in Singapore. therefore, it is very hard to hunt down the SOURCE where they came from.
