Why wrestler always "accidentally" knock off referee?

part of the act.. so they can commit the mayhem which is "against the rules" and the bloodthirsty crowd like to see..
also to be able to play with the crowd's emotions when the 'face pins the heel when the ref is out.. so that they can sell the storyline better

it's getting kinda bore already. the faces also lose this way.
some patterns i see:
- face or heel knocked the ref down by accident,
- face performed his finishing move on heel,
- face tried to pin heel but no ref counts,
- some 3rd party (heel) tried to get in the ring and help and get knocked down by face, while doing so, the heel who was down recovered and find some foreign object,
- heel tried to hit foreign object but missed, by the time the ref already start to regain conscious,
- face tried to carry the heel up but heel hit his groin area,
- heel performed finishing move on face and pin him,
- DUNNO WHY the ref is waked up by then to count for the pin. the heel win!

i remmeber the 3rd disc of Backlash....Batista VS Triple H...
Batista charged at Triple H but missed and hit the referee....then HHH try to pinfall Batista but referee knocked out...HHH slapped the referee trying to wake him up and put him in a position so he can count....but referee too dazed to count....then another referee came rushing to the ring...by the time Batista already muster enuf strength to hit HHH....then the referee pull both of them away...then while the referee was telling HHH to stay put...he kicked the referee groin....the 2nd referee also knocked out.....then later the referee regain consioness and craw to the ring and counted 3 when Batista pinfall HHH....Batista won.......then when he was walking to the ext HHH was so angry he go and hit the referee causing him to be knocked out (again)....
the Bonus CD got a special referee of Coachman....then batista vs (one guy i 4got name ).....Batista pinfall the guy once but Coach refused to count.....Batista told himt o count and when he did it the 2nd time Coach counted up to 2 and said that his hand was painfull.....Batista was so irritated that he go and KO Coach......then when he did it the 3rd time he go and hold the KOed Coach's hand and counted 3......he won again......

Triple H thought his finisher would determine the World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash. Instead, it was a high-octane Batista Bomb that proved the difference.
Despite receiving a low-blow, Batista caught The Game perched atop the ropes and sent him crashing to the ring mat with his signature powerbomb. The matchÂ’s original referee counted three, and Batista earned a remarkable victory before the sold-out crowd in Manchester, N.H.
The Cerebral Assassin would attempt a total of five Pedigrees throughout the course of the match, but heÂ’d connect only once and at an inopportune time. Just prior, Batista attempted a whipping clothesline that Triple H evaded. As a result, the move took referee Mike Chioda clean off his feet and KOÂ’d him in the process. The Game would take advantage and hit his finisher, but there was no ref to make the count. Evolution would do everything it could to revive the official, but it was to no avail; the moveÂ’s effects were far more than Chioda could handle.
Realizing the situation, referee Jack Doan would run to ringside, but by that time, Batista had recovered enough to hit a big spinebuster of his own. Triple H would barely kick out.
Earlier, Batista had a close call of his own while attempting the Batista Bomb while Ric Flair was distracting the referee. Triple H was hoisted up while holding World Heavyweight Championship belt, and he smashed Batista over the head at the finisherÂ’s apex. Somehow, Batista kicked out, sending The Game into a rage.
It foreshadowed Triple H’s eventual reaction at the conclusion of the match, as his anger and frustration boiled over. He pushed “The Nature Boy” and Pedigreed the referee, stalking the ring in total disbelief at what had just transpired. The Game will have to wait for another day to earn world championship No. 11.
