RKO the future?Originally posted by glenlee193:Honestly i feel tt cena is not a good wrestler at all, his mic skills arent tt gd actually , so is his wrestling
RKO is then the future of wwe
I'm sorry, and I don't mean any offense, but Randy Orton as the future of the WWE? You have to be on crack.Originally posted by glenlee193:Honestly i feel tt cena is not a good wrestler at all, his mic skills arent tt gd actually , so is his wrestling

Orton has less moves than John Cena, he oversells moves very often, and is basically a glorified jobber to the stars right now. The only thing he has going for him, is his "Legend Killer" gimmick which has gotten old, and his pyrotechnics. That's it.
By the way, Randy Orton's suspension was entirely a work, just to let all of you know. The WWE Creative Team just wanted a way to move him to RAW, and to enhance his 'Bad Boy' image, so they did it.
Let's take a look at a typical Cena match:
Gets beaten up for 95% of the match...then...
Clothesline
Clothesline
Shoulderblock
Clothesline
Clothesline
Clothesline
Protobomb
Five Knuckle Shuffle
Clothesline
Clothesline
FU
STFU
Now let's take a look a typical RKO match:
Sleeper
Sleeper
Sleeper
Inverted Neckbreaker
Sleeper
Sleeper
Sleeper
Sleeper
Dropkick
Sleeper
Sleeper
RKO...oh wait, missed? okay, it always does nowadays anyway
Sleeper
Clothesline
RKO
Orton has about three moves, if you count Dropkicks as moves. He constantly uses rest holds, and is practically a weaker, leaner version of Chris Masters. Hell, even Masters has more moves than both of them combined. RKO as future? I hardly think so. I'd rather see Mark Henry wrestle than see Orton 'fight'.
Sure, he's young, but being young does not entitle him to being a future World Champion. How many more 'Legends' can he kill? By the time he hits 30, how many 'Legends' are still going to be alive, or even fit to step into the ring without breaking a bone?
Cena as future? Nah.
Orton as future? Nah.
Edge as future? Possibly.
Chris Jericho as future? Even better.
Kurt Angle as future? Hell yeah!
how come ur list of wrestlers to be pushed are all heels?Originally posted by Armageddon_arrives:I'm sorry, and I don't mean any offense, but Randy Orton as the future of the WWE? You have to be on crack.

angle cannot be future as his injuries prevent him from giving top class performance n he has also left for TNA... sadly for y2j, he is still far from returning to wrestling as he is more interested in music bands... so if wwe wans future they reali needs to create more stars...Originally posted by Armageddon_arrives:I'm sorry, and I don't mean any offense, but Randy Orton as the future of the WWE? By the way, the Attitude Era was from 1997-2001, not 1990-2000.Originally posted by R3SsH|n:90's...attitude era...people like shawn michaels(with triple H and DX)...steve austin...the rock ruled...they had pure attitude...they were the ones that represent those working class who were surpressed by their stagnant life...they needed to get free from the hands of authority...thus people like austin can relate to how they are...
You have to admit that most of the wrestlers nowadays that would be considered future championship contenders are heels.Originally posted by 798:how come ur list of wrestlers to be pushed are all heels?
wow..so in 10 years Triple H and HBK are gonner?Originally posted by Armageddon_arrives:You have to admit that most of the wrestlers nowadays that would be considered future championship contenders are heels.
Edge is an example. Young, has wrestling ability. Mic work is okay.
Y2J, if he ever comes back, is a heel. Not that old, can wrestle, and mic work is good.
Orton is another example. Although he currently can't wrestle, his mic work is okay. Seeing as how somebody like Hulk Hogan was made champion, Orton could be made champion for his looks, which, as we all know, drive all the fangirls crazy.
Chris Masters is one more. Limited moveset, bad on the mic, but has a nice body and the look. Could be pushed as champion for the same reason as Randy Orton.
Kenny from the Spirit Squad is another. He'll be starting his singles career soon, and I heard that the WWE creative team was thinking about pushing him because of his looks.
These are just some examples. As long as you either can wrestle, or look good, you'll have a chance to be pushed. These wrestlers are all young, unlike the people who already have reputations today, like Triple H and HBK. In 10 years, Triple H and HBK will be knocking 50, while Orton and Masters will be 36 and 33 respectively. Helmsley is probably going to break a bone by just stepping into the ring.
edge at one point i agree he is good, but after he cheated on his wife n screwed his best friend's gf in locker room, i'm totally pissed off wif him.Originally posted by Armageddon_arrives:You have to admit that most of the wrestlers nowadays that would be considered future championship contenders are heels.
