Having watched Pirates of The Caribbean recently brought back many fond memories of my childhood days....
One of them was Johnny Depp.... I was crazy over him when I was a kid!!!
I remember being a loyal fan and every saturday evening, if I'm not wrong.. faithfully glue myself to the tv set watching him in action on 21 Jump Street... and like every teenage girl.. I'll have tons and tons of his posters on my bedroom wall....those were the days....
More evident then everything though.. Depp is also the reminder that I'm not young anymore...

Edward Scissorhands (1990)Who'd forget this.... one of my favourite....
Arizona Dream (1992)Depp as a young man falling in love with an 'older woman'
Not one of his better films.. sad to say.....
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)I love this movie!!! It tells of Depp as a young man in a small town torn between his obligation to his family and his need to be free to pursue his own happiness.
This show also stars Leo Dicaprio as his retarded brother...
Ed Wood (1994)I never did managed to catch this movie... but it was a highly publicised one.... Depp as Ed Wood the movie director.
Don Juan DeMarco (1995)Very much hyped up back then.. but never did made it to the cinemas in Malaysia back then.. I caught it a few years later... by then I'm not so crazy over Depp... just a so so movie....
Nick of Time (1995)Depp as a man who is being forced to assassinate the governor of California within the next 90 minutes or his daughter will be killed by her kidnappers. Interesting thing about this movie is that it takes place in real time which means that every minute on the screen corresponds to a minute of actual time.
