  By winning games, which will + gold and + GP (experience points), which will raise your level.
  
  While buying stuff like cute costumes with your gold, that will boost your attack/defence/etc.

  Hmm... kinda, in the sense that it's focused on point/money accumulation.
  
  But only 1 game available. Neopets has large variety.
  
  It's like virtual pool in that, you join servers and rooms to compete against opponent players.
