actually liverpool should go and not everton. They can award a uefa cup place to the runners-up of the fa cup then i don't see why liverpool shouldn't get a champ league. I don't understand the english fa's logic when they can award a uefa cup to runners-up and not award a place to liverpool

other teams worked equally hard the whole season to win a place. they need the money from the competition.
liverpool have themselves to blame for not finishing 4th.

I myself accept the fact that as fourth place, according to the rules set, Everton shall go into Champions League. As much as I don't like the idea of Everton representing the best of English clubs in Europe, I accept that their league form is good and shall be rewarded.
The question now is that the rules are not clear in the event of a team winning ECL but not finishing in the top few in the league. Spain has done that and chose Real Madrid for Real Zaragoza since they won the ECL. Though the rules state that the FA concerned has the right to chose the fourth place team instead of the defending champion, common sense says that the defending champion shall be given a chance to defend its trophy when the FA chose the fourth team.
This is my point of view. I know that the petition mostly likely won't do anything, but at least I'm glad that I can at least contribute something about it. If AC Milan wins the ECL, then Liverpool have only themselves to blame. Can't say anything about that. But hopefully, if Liverpool does win the ECL, they shall be given a chance to participate next year. Financially, logically and supporting-wise, I want them to be in the ECL next season if they win it this season. -
Win first, talk later.

i personally find it funny if liverpool were to win UCL. a team that cant even take 4th place and so many points behind the current champion.
it only goes to show that beating chelsea is only a one-off thing.
how depressing......

Me too when they won against Juve i was like wth they are good but during the premiership league they lost to the teams that are at the bottom of the table. What suprise me most was that they lost thrice draw once and won the last match against chelsea. League they lose But when UCL they can tahan against the best of england... amazing

No need to petition for Liverpool to the Champion League next season as they have and may not win the cup.
So, it is a ploy for TNP to raise its readership fanning the emotions of the Liverpool fans. -

We will win this season UCL , I'm very positive in this , and we will have a hangover after that , we don't need to defend anything .
No team in Europe actually successfully defended the Title .
So no need any petition to make us defend anything .
Hmm...honest speaking , we don't deserve to be in next season UCL , we are not the best .
What we need now is a Total Revamp of the team for the EPL .
The road is still long leh ..... one season not in the UCL won't die .
