bolton is a jinx team to arsenal, hopefully wenger can take a good look at tonite match n learn from liverpool using long ball tactics to counter bolton.

A very moral boosting win against Bolton , a team always very difficult for LFC , but we won !
We work very hard for this match , and won , fully deserved the victory .
The best part is , 3 very good goals .
We created the chances , and took full advantage of the oppotunity , and gained 3 valuable points .

Rafa Benitez has said the referee is the key to succeeding against Bolton, who face Liverpool later today, and accused members of the team of diving.
The Reds have had a tense relationship with the Trotters since Rafa's first domestic loss as manager against Sam Allardyce's men. And the Reds' boss was in no mood to tone down his comments before today's fixture, commenting that it was important for the referee to be conscious of Bolton's dubious physical tactics.
Rafa said, "Each player or each team decides how they want to win, and you can't criticise them for that, but the rules are the same for everybody. When you play against Bolton you must say to the referee: 'Be aware of each throw-in, each foul or each free-kick you award because it makes a big difference if the decisions are right or wrong.'"
He added, "Diouf and Nicolas Anelka are good players but one of them is really proud of diving and I don't like that. If we are killing the players who dive and someone says he is proud to dive because it is good for him and his team, then I feel we cannot support this. The referee must be aware of this."
"I don't think Bolton could play the way they do in Spain. At every free-kick, every corner, every throw-in they commit what in Spain would be a foul, but here it's not. They know this and they take advantage of all these things."
Well , Graham Poll did farely alright for this match , no mistake , except for not sending Bolton's Faye off for two yellows . -

he certianly did ... as usual his workrate was 110% ... terrorised trotters' left defence with pennant, finnan etc especially in the 2nd half ... the bolton keeper saved well from his previous attempt but could do nothing about the goal ... if he was the m-o-m he deserved itOriginally posted by Poolman:Kuyt has a hand in all 3 goals , right ?

their keeper played well saving superbly from finnan in the 1st half & again from hyppia & kuyt in the 2nd half ...
crouchy seems to score the more difficult goals but miss the easy ones ... bicycle from a 6 foot 7 striker? (& it's not the 1st time this season too) ... after that super goal he sent a shot & a header straight at the keeper ... i'm confused
our defence also deserves a mention I thought ... diouf did not have any time on the ball, we were onto him really quickly & if we didn't get the ball we got him
... ah sam had to sub him early in the 2nd half
2 from 2 so far ... we've done well, but as ah ben likes to say we need to focus on the next game (or 2 matches against 798's gunners) ... very true otherwise these hard earned victories will be wasted ...
