police working at NPP and NPCs should be working in shifts right?
like to find out the following from our men in blue here:
1. what are your working hours like, and what is the ratio between off-hours and working hours?
2. how is your leave application done, since it has to take into account the off-hours / days that you are entitled to. are there any difference in leave calculation when you apply for an extended (say, more than 14 or 21 days) period of leave?
3. what are the leave policies for going overseas?

Ans 1: working hours.. standard working hours is 8-8, night and day.. so you work 12 hours morning then 24 hours off. then 12 hours night and then 2 days off before you start your shift in the morning again. This is for regular duties minus extra duties... then different NPC will have +-1 hour for breifing and de-briefing.. or depends if you have alot of work and have to work extra hoursOriginally posted by wuming78:police working at NPP and NPCs should be working in shifts right?

Ans 2: hmmm... for leave is one shift is 1.5 days and one tour is 3 days.. if you take one tour off you actually earn 6 days leave so if you take 2 tours off which is 6 days leave you get 12 days...so if you need a long holiday take a 9 days vacation leave... you will get 18 days off...leave application now is done thru a computer system which i think is quite sucky...
Ans 3: PNS or those never complete MTE must apply for an exit permit and put up a leaving state form... If complete MTE already then infd your TL about it and give him a leaving state form then you can go overseas already. -

mabbe i ask by example:
suppose on 1 jan you are working 8 am - 8 pm, then you off from 8 pm to 2 jan 8 pm, then you work from 8 pm to 3 jan 8 am, and rest until 5 jan 8 am, and the cycle repeats every 4 days.
(i presume that your leave day starts from 8 am as well then?)
so if i take leave from 1 jan to 4 jan, only 1 day will be deducted from your leave entitlement, and the remaining 3 days are off? so if i take leave from 1 jan to 8 jan, it will be 2 days of leave, 6 days of off? and so on?
if the above is correct, does the same apply regardless of the duration of your leave? (so if i take leave from 1 jan to 28 jan, it will be just 7 days of leave, while the rest are all offs?) -
Er...the shift (usually) starts at 7am for the day shift. The 12 hour thingy is called a "Shift." The next 12 hour shift for the night, combined with the day shift for a total of 24 hours is called a "Tour."

once a month will have menses called In-Service....if u sway one month comes twice....

SACO is SC/Cpl or SC/Sgt.....got so much power huh.....by right is TL recommend and CO/OO approve one. Okok....I can see why you wont help them. In fact, its quite a miracle you didnt curse them with death when they fall.
