i wanna know more infor abt the job scope of being PO
working hour : 12 hours shift 8am-8pm

got in-service every 28 days -

in-service falls on thursday....u will know how to 'calculate' when u start your 1-2-O-O shift thingy...if u mean SPO then u will go to I-Branch for AT LEAST 6 mths after your 9 mths in Tracom, then you MAY BE posted out to be TL...of cos got some people go PID, STAR, SD&I etc....

if that is so... you would be an IO for at least one year before they will send you to teams... then you will be our TL...

every JOs are given chances to be a SO, qualifications come into the picture when maybe 2 qualified candidates but only one to be nominated? -
best way is to resign and apply for SO....but then SO that are promoted rank and file are much better than direct entry SO though... feel that those rank and file ones are like one of the men easier to work.. those direct entry ones too much command and control.. there is a huge distance there... any other comments?

Heh.....I just heard a different perspective from another PO regular (who is a super laojiao now). He says direct entry SPOs are actually prefered, because they dont have bad habits to break. and btw if a degree holder of 28-31 years of age apply to join spf, will his 'eligibility' be affected greatly by his age? -

Hmm....by right no age limit one, but aged 28 should not be too old I suppose....and it might help if you have relevant work experience? -
hmm - well you should coz the web site is down. Certainly doesn't reflect well on SPF in general. Think about it, they cannnot even maintain a website!!!

and now he is holding a rank of INSP
it depend on the working attitude
