Usual recruitment Period

Hey guys, I was wondering how often do they do recruitment for SOs or JOs in the SPF. I've been monitoring the online application and it has been closed since last Nov.
Any ideas if there are any more drives this year? -
I think they don't really have a certain window for recruitment so to say. They start the recruitment whenever they need people? And when the recruitment opens, it's usually for a relatively short period of time. Ah so it means that usually one have to be alert in making sure of the recruitment window, if not it just passes by. Hmm, thanks for the reply.

I know the MHA (including the police) always have booth in the annual Career fair held in March.
And if I didn't remember wrongly last year, they redirected the interested applicants to a nearby computer to sign up online.
Maybe you should look out during March to see if they open recruitment.

Well for those still in the varsities, the annual career fair might be a good time to guage the situation (although I doubt they can do much). The NUS career fair will be on 17 & 18 February. I will be on a look out.

Its actually meant for NUS undergrads/graduants, but I suppose anyone can just walkin also and pretend to be an undergrad bah!

Ah that's sad then heh, cause I've checked through the list there's no SPF in the participating bodies for the career fair in Feb.

Yea graduating this sem, as to why I'm interested in the Force, well, have been in love with it since my NS days in Alpha. Love the running, the chase, the thrills, and the communication, hehe.

Hey nice, BME I presume? Alpha is nice, some people can't take the pressure but some find it a little cozy with all the happenings in one place.

Heh from Arts, and not doing my honors, checked the pay difference not that great for me if I do the extra year.

Hi esp to kalel and huaiwei, i suppose you are graduating tis sem and intending to sign on as a senior police officer. Supposedly, there wun be any recruitment drive for SPO till say half a yr later and the application process takes a few months.. den you are not successful in ur application.. touchwood lah.. den wat would u intend to do? -
Not successful ah.....mould the minds of young people loh? It still (partly) fulfills my desires to make society a better place anyway.
