  Is a N level holder eligible to sign on?I know chances will be slim..but wat if i keep on sending application forms and will there be any difference??Pls advise cos signing on police was my only chance as i was rejected from SAF due to my eyesight so went for lasik to perfect my eyesight...

  no.. N levels only accepted by SAF.. dont know about SCDF.. you need to upgrade yourself to at least 5 O levels.... or ITC

  Impossible liao becoz i signed on as a logistician after begin rejected ...thought of saving some money for the surgery during sign on and after that convert to combat but due to some problems.........jus cant fulfil wat i want...So 6 yrs contract juz ended and hope to join spf...but i think its a impossible task for me and all i can do is to keep on sending application form hoping to attract their attention one day..

  well the best way is to upgrade yourself.. cause SPF like i said min is 5 O levels...

  Guess i have no choice.But anyone knows wat is the age limit for STAR?I'm not showing off or brag abt wat i wan to be..juz seriously want to know the details.I failed once and wasted 6 yrs of my time so i cant afford to fail again.I know being a STAR is not easy but i will work hard to fulfill wat i'm been looking for...

  wonder if i m too late to reply. lol. for ur info, u must be serving inside the police force, to apply for selection into the S.T.A.R. u can apply for S.T.A.R once u r in TRAcom, don need to wait after u post out of PA. so, is still 5 o level credit. however, those without 5 credit, can also apply, Those with less than 5 GCE 'O' level credits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.   All I can do is just send application form every 3 days and wait for the letter..i did email to them regarding the age limit to STAR application and they told me is 30..[/quote]

  Even though i apply three times, SAF rejected me as my eyesight was over 800+ per eye..

  STAR also got eyesight requirements as well.. as it applies to all the SPF post.. sending emails or applications every 3 days is not an option.. all they need to do is just delete it off.. they wont find it a nuisance and ask you to join or something.. most to most maybe they even block your IP from sending...
