  Hahaha! The 3 rounds is only applicable to sentry in army camp.
  
  Not wrong, we carry 10 live rounds whenever we patrol.
  
  However to be real honest, whether these 10 rounds can be fired is a mystery cos not many officers has the chance to do so. But I am sure none of us wants to get the chance to find out.

  Maybe in the past when Singapore was still under threat of gunman.
  
  But Singapore has got peaceful and carry 30 rounds will seem a burden.
