  As its a trg camp.. think every thing have to be the same, uniformility. instead of own individual walking style.. every trainee has to march. Wear the same uniform, shoes, eat the same food at the cook hse.. etc...

  Its pure regimentation. Pure and simple. No..its not to worry that you will trip and fall if you walk. No, its not because they scared cant tell you apart from non-trainees. It is just that: regimentation.
