Well I've only done my medical last week, so I don't think I'm in any position to complain about the waiting time in comparison to everyone else's... though at this point, I'm not even certain if I'll be able to pass it, and if I do, be able to make it into any intake of this year...

I got a call this morning asking for my notice of period and to send in a full length body photo. Like what some of you here have experienced. I was told next intake is mid Dec.

good to have hope but not too high yet. cos nth is cfm till you get the call. I have a few NS SPF friends who applied for regular, went for medical and got rejected. the longest wait i seen is rejected 8 mths after medical. With that said, they applied for JO, Im not so sure about SO. but still, stay hopeful! I hope good news for everyone. haha.

Same as Mucho, i just did my medical last week on tuesday. With the amount of peeps waiting, i doubt squeezing into this intake will be possible.

They have urged netizens to not share the picture. However, a certain facebook page by the name of 'The Real Singapore' has shared it and the picture is seriously enraging - for myself and I am sure as fellow SPO applicants you guys will be equally enraged.Ultimately, it paints a terrible picture of the force we all look up and hope to get into. Therefore, I am hoping we could work out a concerted effort to 'report' the offensive picture. Thank you!

@ladyEmpowerment I have doubts over the authencity of the image, I think someone had photoshopped a screenshot of the SPF website rather than actually having hacked into the webpage... Authentic or fake, I think the intention is to insult/troll and I think we shouldn't fall "victim" by being enraged :) If its an actual incident, I'm sure the perpetrators wouldn't be left off easy
@Jen and Eswhesteey Like how it has been mentioned multiple times before, be yourself, show leadership, speak truthfully and with confidence, and have an opinion on things... They will probably open with standard HR questions (who you are, your background, where do you see yourself in 5-10years, etc) followed by knowledge/opinions on matters related to SPF, crime, even public service (the recent "hacking" incidents/threats are potentially questions as well!) as well as situational questions. Remember that they are seasoned police officers, so do your best and don't try to smoke through :) All the best for your panels!
