@Jen and Eswhesteey Like how it has been mentioned multiple times before, be yourself, show leadership, speak truthfully and with confidence, and have an opinion on things... They will probably open with standard HR questions (who you are, your background, where do you see yourself in 5-10years, etc) followed by knowledge/opinions on matters related to SPF, crime, even public service (the recent "hacking" incidents/threats are potentially questions as well!) as well as situational questions. Remember that they are seasoned police officers, so do your best and don't try to smoke through :) All the best for your panels!

Anyone heard of applicants with 2nd upper hons, but at the end of the selection process they are being offered the rank of INSP for their contract?
This is because, currently, 2nd Upper appplicants can be given ASP for their direct entry rank and this will be based on their performance during the selection process, if not they will get INSP rank like the other Hons/ degree applicants.
2-3 years back before this change in the Manpower policy, ALL applicants with 2nd Upper & 1st Class will automatically be given direct entry ASP upon qualifying from the selection process.
Any one here having 2nd Upper?

Hi all, would like to enquire on some doubts of mine, what happens if the application after the first selection assessment turns out to be unsuccessful?Is there still any chances if still interested in joining so?anyone ever got in to so with an overseas degree?(apart from sim). When do they determine if ur qualification is qualify n at which part of the selection stage?would anyone here with degree(despite being oversea) willing to join as jo if offered?how long does it take for jo to promote to so?ever encounter or heard of double promotion?

This is based on my experience. If you are rejected at any stage, you will need to wait for 6 months after your rejection date before you can reapply.
I have enquired about degree holders joining as JPO however they said that currently SPF don't have such scheme yet.(May have changes, not sure when)
I think that the education qualification is determined at the selection assessment when applicants are told to bring the orginal certs and transcript for verification.
Has anyone tried calling recruitment in the last 2 weeks? i have tried many times but no one seems to pick up their calls.
