I need some help here, previously i applied and i clear my interview but due to my ippt they have to withdraw my application because at that point of time i couldn't take my ippt due to fever. If i were to reapply again what are the chances of me getting selected??
I went for SA on 25 Nov, Today (1 Dec) i already recieve email to go for Dialogue on (8 Dec). Can i ask if i got my offer on April can i postpone it to like September or November intake??
@Mindthegap
May I know when will be ur enlist date? Thanks.
@Gavintan138 May i know when u submitted your application on? And how long did u take exactly to receive news on having being shortlisted for the SA?
Hi guys! I applied on 21st July, and went for my medical on 24th Nov. Took me about five months to reach the final stage. Can anyone advise how long it took for you to receive a notice, whether acceptance or rejection after medical? Appreciate it lots![]()
@Mindthegap Congrats on your offer call!

Senior Police Officer Board Interview on 10 Dec,
But at the same time , Prison called up to attend the Selection Assesment for Senior Prison Officer on 7 Dec, If manage to get through the Panel will come within a week and Offer should be latest by 1 week of January 2016 as the Intake training will commence in Feb 2016
Dilemma now lol
I received a call from SPF enquiring about my notice period, saying that they will be able to get back to me regarding my application results in a few weeks. Just wondering, is there a chance that you'll be rejected even after they ask for your notice period?
Was quite surprised that they called me back so soon cause I only went for my board interview less than a month ago, so I was actually going to work somewhere else and now idk if I should reject the other job offer ![]()
For those who have already gotten their offer call, may I know what's the date that they gave you for your attachment and intake? Will it be a few months later or a few weeks?

I received the same call asking for my notice period as well. My understanding from the phone call is that yes, there is still a chance of rejection. Was informed that medical report has not been received by them yet, thus either that or other factors from previous stages could result in a rejection.
The last intake for this year is 14 Dec, and the first intake for 2016 would be end Jan. Not sure of the exact date though.
Attended the Board Interview today, felt that it was quite Tough.
No generic question for me , almost all situational and views/opinion question.
Now just have to pray hard.
@exvinix I was there too dude. Intense. I have generic questions that I blanked out so bad being too nervous. I was fine until I went in and the questions started firing. I don't even know what in the world I was talking about. Indeed, have to pray real hard. 😔 all the best man.
any one else attended the Board Interview Yesterday ?
@Exvinix stay positive! I had mine last month and the interviewer didnt look very pleased with my response at the end of the interview (very stern look throughout). But i got the offer call on wednesday and will be going in next week!
@meveth you are lucky man. Last month interview and this month got the offer already, most of the people here have to wait for a least few months before offer comes in.
Anyway I just received email from SPF asking for the yearly statement of account . Wondering is it good news cause I don't see a point for them to ask for it if yesterday interview was a no go.
I need help.. I am a pre-enlistee, I already received my enlistment date but I want to sign on to the police force. Is is possible and if it is can I know how ? :(

National Service
10. If I've not served my National Service, can I apply?
Yes, you can. SPF will have to check with Central Manpower Base (CMPB) prior to
your appointment for approval to release you from full-time National Service enlistment. All
male Singaporeans/ Singapore Permanent Residents who have not completed full-time
national service must serve a minimum term of 5 years (known as Minimum Term of
Engagement, MTE) as a regular officer so as to fulfil your full-time National Service
obligation.
11. If I'm a full-time National Serviceman, who is presently serving my 3 months Basic Military
Training (BMT), am I eligible to apply?
Yes, you may. However, you have to submit your application early (preferably at least
2 months prior to your completion of BMT). This is to facilitate the arrangement for your
interview before your BMT completion and vocational unit posting.

Hope the above mentioned info helps
@exvinix that's odd they asked you for the yearly statement of account as the CPF system is down. And I called them a day before interview I was unable to produce it and they were aware of it. But then again it could be a good sign on your end. Now I'm at the edge of my seat😶
Hi, I have a question.
Many of you guys who passed the SA or have received the offer. May I ask if any of you are from private uni? E.g. UOL?
I have heard that there are more preference towards local uni applicants.
Thank you. :)
You can PM me too if you wish :)
@bielemental did you submit any cpf statement on 10 dec ? Wat time did you attend the panel ? I was from 1:30 batch.
@bob25 I was from Uni of Manchester SIM. So I dont think is an issue.
@exvinix yea I submitted some contribution statement do last 15 months.
@bob25 from all I know as Long as your qualifications are recognised in the awarding university's country, it's recognise by SPF. That's what I understood when I enquired before I applied. I was from PSB - UWA, so far no issues.
