hey wanna post some question..i am a 2nd year ite student..i got my defferment till end of dis year and also my medicail checup..if i wanna go serve police during my NS..wht should i do??i wanna after i got my NITEC cert go appl le..but where can i go apply??can any policeman giv us more detials..thanks

But if you hope to serve your ns in the police, then i think you gonna see if you're lucky enough to be pick by em. We have no options or whatsoever to decide where we wanna serve our ns. The only means to do that is by signing on. -

bond is 5 yrs inclusive of NS 2.5yrs
that means 2.5 yrs counted as NS in SPF, 2.5 yrs working in SPF.
if u quit after 5 yrs, u wont get any $$...
u will receive 1 small amt of $$ at the 6th yr n 10th yr (more $$)
8th yr i dunno got or not... -

the question u have post i will not be able to answer u.... as for who is suppose to serve NS in police, army or even civil defence it will only be sort at cmpb......
thou there are rumours like :
1) 1st guy in family will usually go commando, or
2) if u join NPCC u will get into police force, or
3) even which month the letter is send for you to enlist will have higher chance etc etc...
but in the end still lies in the database in CMPB to sort out who to go where.... usually those whom qualify for serving NS in the police force will definately have his family screen by SPF as one of the criteria....
perhaps u might want to consider of join the police force as a regular....

The bond for those who haven't serve NS is 5 years including the training in TRACOM. You can straight away email them after you got your result slips with you. -

it's actaully 2 1/2 years of NS and 2 1/2 yrs of bond ..

most poly stud do meet our basic requirements stated, but granting an interview does not only base on basic requirements. Do have some patiance and if you do really have interest in the SPF, send in more applications and of cos if possible get help from your MP.
