hi pple.....would gladly appreciate any advice..
have a few doubts n would like to have them cleared asap..cos i
going tekong on 07/06/2004....
1)m i qualified to sign on police during my ns days?
2)i applied to join spf in late feb but have since failed.. duno y reason..
3)is there any possibilities or way on how i can get selected to join spf...
btw i m a poly grad from np (dip in management engineering)..
reali hope to join the home team....

1) you are still qualified to join SPF even if you are in the ARMY, but of cos the procedure will be abit complicated.... as you are already in the SAF namelist, it will take sometime for you to be released by CMPB if you are accepted by SPF.
2) i am sorry to know that you have fail to be even consider for an interview. but my advice is still the same, if you do really have interest for SPF then dont give up. cos in my records, there are people whom tried up to 5 times before being offer an interview. and i am sorry as i will not be able to tell u why you have "failed" for your Feb application.
3) the only way is to carry on trying by sending applications to the SPF. You can also consider to approached your MP and seek for help too, if necessary.

is there any time frame which like...there must be at least 6 months aft my prev application which i can submit my nex application???
or how offen should i sen my applications??
erm..ya..going to the mp would be the last resort.....but how m i going to ask the mp bout it??
say i'd very much like to join the spf..but din even pass the first hurdle....
btw i m from single parent family..n my brother is in RSAF serving his ns now.. there r sure no criminal records in my fam..except that i was booked for parking illegaly when i was riding bike last time..not that serious compared to speeding or riding recklessly right?

you can continuing sending application forms to them perhaps weekly or bi-monthly. as for approaching MP you can just state what you have told me in your 1st post. tell him your situation and you have tried to apply but no reply. and you are going Army soon etc etc.
