Can I choose Police Academy instead of Army when serving NS?

I am going to be enlisted next year.. How do I join Police Academy?
I was in NPCC for only awhile in Sec school...
How? Physically I am not bad.. can run, etc...

hmmmm, they got their own criteria one loh.......how they select is not really known.

NPCC cadets do not always get posted back to SPF, especially if they have excelled during their cadet days. Heard that SAF always gets to pick the best first. At least I have yet to hear anyone with SPF NPCC badge been posted to TRACOM for their basic training.

Haha....seriously I see almost no relation between NPCC and NS police.
Anyway, I do agree it is true that SAF does get the cream of the crop. In fact, it might even be related to grades. In the JC I was from, for eg, there was seemingly an exceptionally high number of folks who got that Tracom letter. -
Hmm.. or mayb the MCQs u answered during the medical checkup have some effect on the postings... If u can remember, the whole thing have several sets of small tests and breaks in between. 1 set of test may be qns related to artillery, den another set related to another unit.. etc.. Maybe they will post u according to which set of qns u answered with the most correct answers.
And not forgetting ur medical conditions, family background.. ..

I have been thru both before, its not that bad in terms of training....
as for Weidev, have to work hard and increase abit on his weight, thou its an advantage for him in Pull-Ups...
