The 58th batch of VSCs just graduated yesterday (I belong to the 57th), and wow.....none of them are coming to my division.
From what I saw, that was the batch with a seemingly high proportion of zarbos.

Hi guys...
One of my buddy is interested in joining VSC team. But unfortunately, he does not have a valid 'O' level certificate (Only secondary school) but he speaks proficient english (write, read & speak) and was given a PES E status after completed his BMT as PES C shortly.
But be informed that he has completed his national service requirements.
Crucial questions... Is he able to join SPF as VSC and, will he be shortlisted for an interview?

Well, you guys know that as far the garmen is concerned, nothing is more important then pieces of paper. So if your friend have no proof of hits paper qualifications, then hard luck.
Secondly, I dont think they want to take in anyone below Pes B. Some did somehow slip through the net for some reason or other, but in general, they have little reason to get someone in who might collapse and die while chasing after a molester loh... -

I do agree that Singapore is very typical in Qualification to determine Is he the smart and talented person which I think is a total wrong. Similar situation happened to my friend as he scored 9/10 for his range in BMT and he was posted to be as a Sniper... But unfortunately, due to his Qualification, SAF has rejected a fine becoming Sniper to protect our home.
As for VSC... I would think that a resume of his past work experience will be appropriate to cover most of the considerable criteria and pointers needed to shortlist certain group of them. -
You can try.....for example, I have had some peers who are quite senior in age, and has actually been excepted from some aspects of IPPT, or even the entire IPPT. But since they are in the course with me, I suppose there must has been a way in?

Well... He had his most painful realistic experience from the Gahment... Actual range of rundown shooting to score 9/10 is considered hard and tough to reach or attain. His performance throughout his BMT was enough to enlist him into Commando training barracks... Due to his insufficient background and qualification. Requirements rejected him to become a fine soldier. Just to be informed that he had been thinking of signing at the very first moment before enlistment. But the dream shattered badly... Well, that was history liao wor. Our nation has lack of one hardworking soldier than adding more terok soldier.
I hope you were saying about the guy in BMT rather the guy that did not have sufficient qualification and background to be VSC. -

Qualification is important... But performance weights the same when work comes to action. You wont be able to pick out a VSC on the streets...provided he looks really old and still in CPL rank or anything smaller then that! -
Just went to VSC website... Eyesight must be less than 500 deg... then i automatically disqualified liao... cos mine's around 800..
