I guess it's because SAF is too large an organisation to have 5 days week for their trainees? Kinda impossible to accomodate the training demands, especially their ranges.Originally posted by huaiwei:Working hours same...but at least they squeeze the working hours together so there is a longer stretch of free hours in one go? There are pros and cons to this arrangement I suppose.
Anyway seems like the SAF schools arent having this arrangement...its still 5/1/2 for BMTC etc. I suppose we will soon have more mata kias over the long term then?
I dont think it will make any difference since they are having alt Fri off....Originally posted by malcolmloke:I guess it's because SAF is too large an organisation to have 5 days week for their trainees? Kinda impossible to accomodate the training demands, especially their ranges.
But I believe sooner or later, they will start the 5 day week too.
As for PA, I guess the trainees defintely welcome this change too? You can have longer weekends? But I hope that training will not be compromised?
Sorry but what do you mean alternate Friday off? Meaning they get to go home on Thursdays on alternate weeks?Originally posted by qazplm:I dont think it will make any difference since they are having alt Fri off....
i think qazplm is referring to PA, not SAFOriginally posted by qazplm:I dont think it will make any difference since they are having alt Fri off....
Yupz... I don't think there's this alt Friday off thing? Kinda impossible? and yeah.. spoken to my fren who is a trainee, he told me don't have.Originally posted by SnowFlag:i think qazplm is referring to PA, not SAF
