don't be depressed, it'll get over real soon & I had the same feeling like you too but its a matter of time that you'll be used to it.
if you're lucky, your platoon mates may be the same but no gurantee..

ok im like so 'macam paham'. i nvr got the chance to stay in, thank God. but my office-mates and juniors alike enjoyed their BRTC days, and missing those times even.
it boils down to your mindset. if you want to enjoy it, you will enjoy it. want the opposite? you'll get it.

I was a PES B last year and was posted to Army on Sept 13 2007. But I defer. Then went for medical again. Got a PES A this time. Now they send me to CD. Yea, I know its weird...

enlisting at 10 am gd wat, not so rushing..
I enlisted @ 8.30am & travelled from east to west but luckily I had a ride from my uncle so not so bad..

I seriously recommend you to aim for the medic vocation but don't forget there are different areas where medics can operate so again aim to become a station medic..
