Blaze destroys 52 motorcycles at Block 163A Gangsa Road
SINGAPORE: Residents living near Block 163A Gangsa Road woke up to the smell of smoke and burning rubber on Tuesday morning.
A blaze that happened around 2am destroyed 52 motorcycles at the multi-storey car park.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived shortly and brought the fire under control in 15 minutes.
No one was injured in the incident. SCDF is investigating the cause of the fire.

18-year-old suspect arrested for fire at Gangsa Road car park
SINGAPORE: Police have arrested an 18-year-old who is believed to
have torched 52 motorcycles at a Gangsa Road multi-storey car park last
month.
The Indian suspect was nabbed on Thursday, one month after the incident.
Investigations by officers from the Jurong Police Division showed
that he may have set off the fire while trying to steal a crash helmet.
The suspect will be charged in court on Saturday with theft and
mischief by fire. If convicted, he could be jailed up to seven years
and possibly fined.
Jurong Police Division commander, Deputy Assistant Commissioner
Cheang Keng Keong stressed that those who commit such offences would be
tracked down and dealt with severely.
