Failing maths

  ARghh ! gonna fail maths again.
  
  I can't seem to do maths quickly, den not enuff time to really go complete and do properly ... sianz .. starting to hate myself for being so slow man .

  Hmm must be someone from #sgforums.
  
  well . i need some tips on studying maths ? i can't like see already know wad formula to use .. end up use too much time .. + somemore some is like see le .. cannot really 100 percent recall everything .. if not i pass le todae

  When you do maths, you need to open the 'third' eye. I was hopeless in maths till sec 3 when i opened that eye, then now maths to me is like a hobby.

  maths.. is all about practicing.. of coz if u wan to get good grades u must sacrifice your entertainment time. like tv and pc.. tats the price needed to get good grades..

  Ok so i was a bit exaggerated earlier. But I'll let you in on my secret of doing well in maths. I'm already 24 but I'm still taking maths at an advanced level in uni. Its the type that really makes you see stars.

  Maths at whatever level to me is like a series of patterns that will always be the same. In and out.
  
  I dun mean to brag but maths is the only subject you can score 100/100 in, believe me when i say this coz there are ppl scoring full marks in advanced maths in my uni and i know i can do the same.
  
  If you can grasp how maths work, its like you opened the third eye. But to do all that, the 1st step you need to take is practice. I was forced to practiced and practiced till eventually i got the hang of it and thats where my story ends at sec 3.

  hehe do't worry too much abt your maths.. i failed my maths nonstop all the way to sec 4 o levels exam.. hehe .. then in the O levels i got a C5 .. so ya can make it one la.. don't worry.. just keep practising.. hehe

  maths also need some understanding. i have lost touch with ur current syllabus,so i dun noe how difficult it is...
  
  all i know is understand wat is being ask...and analyse wat varables u need and work onto finding the solution. different formula have different characteristics and varibles. with the difference, guage the which one best fits in... mix n match or mutation may be required at times...

  hey..being slow isnt ur fault.. it isnt wrong... alrite?
  if u r slow n hardworking.. u can always catch up wif the rest...
  
  so b more hardworking in ur maths..
  plan ur time well.. allocate more time for maths n lesser time for ur stronger subjects..
  
  if u work hard now,its nv too late till the day u take ur exam..

  Maths is easy.. Yes u heard it right.. Its easy.. all u need is more and more practice.... No need to memorise important formulaes.. apply them every day.. then check them.. when u finish doing one , go backwards.. it works instantly... i used to buy my former students, 3 sets of TYS Maths when they were sitting for the o levels while i was in poly year 3...

  its not easy when you have to spend so much time to practice...
