Evening Blue
The sun had set
Yet it is not yet darkness
Instead it is blue gradually darkening
And growing dimmer and dimmer
The stars are out too
Who say they shine only when all is dark
In the dim blue sky
the stars glow struggling to give off lights
Which are dear to us
Out there in the darkening sky
the moon shone brilliantly like a pearl
All too fast, the sky changed
From blue to dark blue
And from dark blue to darkness
Still the moon and starts lighten up the sky
So it is not total darkness
To have seen the blueness turn to dark
Is a wondrous way of Mother Nature showing us one of her many beauty and face -

There you were, walking alone
Eyes looking down, intent on your phone
Oblivious and unknowing
Of the emotions that were flowing
That the sight of you has in my heart grown.
Here I stand, rooted to the ground
Watching your every move, fearing I would be found
Anxious and divided
Should I greet you? IÂ’m undecided
And like hammers my heart began to pound.
Then she comes, running to you
With looks of happiness, coloring her hue
Overjoyed and excited

Email Romance
In anxious anticipation I typed on the keys
Hoping, as I logged on, that your mail I will see
As the mailbox took its sweet time to load
I thought my hope was turning cold
Out popped a window, blinking “You’ve got mail!”
My heart leapt with such joy that I thought it would fail
As I settled myself and began to read
I couldnÂ’t help but wonder about the life you lead
You spoke of your interests and how you had your day
And asked me questions that left me with so much to say
Then I saw a line right at the bottom, seemingly discreet
Asking politely, “I was thinking… shall we meet?”
My feet turned cold and so did my fingers
But on my face I felt a red heat linger
Staring at the mail, frozen as ice
Thinking "shall I meet him? Will he think IÂ’m nice?"
For months weÂ’ve traded emails long and many
Sharing our thoughts and interests, and you were so canny
In each other we thought we found a soul mate
To meet each other in cyberspace seems an act of fate.
And now, there it is, a request to meet
That face-to-face, for the first time, weÂ’ll greet
A chance to make that destiny alive
To allow that relationship an opportunity to thrive
Why not? With resolution, I said.
LetÂ’s take a chance, what is there to dread.
With a cheerful heart and deft typing skills I apply
I set my destiny with you on my next reply. -

Like a child,
He cried and whined
Unrestrained emotions
The tears simply couldn't stop
The loss was too great
Her demise was like the roaring rain
Memories preserved
Remincising the past was simply an endless cycle
Too much of her in his mind
His heart aches so much it almost died
Crying again in this lonely night
Only her presence could soothe his cries.

When was the last time I smile?
Where were you when I needed you?

I must have been a fool
Silly enough to endure all this while

addictions
to do,

The dilapidated house
Lives a family of six
An ex-convict father
Their childhood seemed like a loner's road
An afternoon passed by
I helped work on the torn ceiling
The dust and cobwebs
A century's of untold tales
I saw the laughter through the tears
The pain behind those sunken eyes
Smiles revealed on their face
Heart's in agony, so real...
My heart aches for them
For a father whose love was never there
Struggles they faced
I prayed it'll make them stronger each day
My duty was done
A new makeover of the house

i miss you
