Eons.
Silent in the misty dreams
That life hath weaved
Around me and you.
I stand alone,
Upon the rostrum of the sun;
And your face, blessed
With the serenity of the ages
Gazes at me
Â…..quizzical, as if
Searching for answers
That I have plenty
But you didnÂ’t seem to want.
Where I once tread,
Now there is only death
And the void which permeates the
Salty earth
Is named after my own soul
For I am one with nothing.
Black ravens flood my eyes
They bear your sigil,
Your command is holy writ
Sealed by an oath
Reaching through the eons,
Companion to the Old Ones.
Forsooth you were there before
Time.
Your smile radiates
And heals me.
Painful indeed
To see your era slain
By the miscreant called time;
Some cheap rebel who
Seeks to usurp your regency
Within me.
And I shall never again
Bow to your throne
When they replaced you
With a false Queen. -

Hell.Global
Listless in the murky
depths of a lost being
The rage ebbs and flows
like a curious veneer of
loathing and bloodlust
of idolatry and hubris,
whose stained power flows
from the
scimitar.
The hands are drenched
with the stark glee of
the Ripper and a whisky glass
of Sade's shot, 100% distilled
to devious perfection.
Like a drug designed
to inure the hapless soul
and drive him through spikes
of devilish delight
turning his back
on the God he
once served,
now a slave to a
godless Clone
who dreams of
retaking the Kingdom
and dressing it in crimson
waves. -

Evening Vibes
Either we stop to see,
the world shalt spin
us by
like the sweat-stained
spinning gasing
held in the palm of a boy,
eyes laced with want
but staring at the crane
with his gaping mouth.
Neither he saw
nor
heard the rumbling
of diesel giants, bent
on inexorable pounding
at the heartbeat of
his wooden soul.
The soft pillowy attap
laid on by the
rusty greatness
of his descendants.
A single leaf
flutters,
spiralling down the
gutter between two blocks.
The wired man and his vasectomy.
The grey surgery
the winding, slow
drip of wet cement,
encasing me in a cast
of silence.
Raindrops my only
native guide back to the
Eden which i was
forged.
My eyes swivel drearily,
their pupils dilate in the
gilded sunlight, with its
gunmetal cloud-sisters.
They fear not from sadness
but from rancid erosion
of the wonders of
nameless deities fathered
by Ozymandias. -

The Winged Mind
Why is it?
People cherish broken vases
Like they weep over
A lost love
Whither the lines that stay
Glaringly visible
After momentous patching.
Love is not loctite.
The soft sheen of care
Protects the storm inside
From eating up the innards
And the blanket of life.
Have we ever stopped?
To grasp that soft hand
Only to let it slip,
Hearing, “It’s not my fault…”
Like the rampant sweat of
An addict clinging to the
Paint splattered railing,
Akimbo to his end.
My feelings swirl within.
And
This angel lies asleep
But tossing, turning
For his wings are frozen
With the icy touch

Wired Elderly
(Or, The WiFi Rocking Chair)

Hale and hearty
Old Chan looked distressed.
His hand clutching six colored wires
The other wobbling.
His callused hands-
A repository of experiences.
But today, they were
Simply like a neophyteÂ’s.
Once, he enlisted machines,
To help in his labor
Now, fleeting thoughts of despair
Erode his lore and wisdom.
“Re-training, Bah! Boh Liao!
ItÂ’s not economical
To teach an old man
The tools of the young.
Listen to my theory,
The old learn torpidly
While the young are like jets
Breaking ignoranceÂ’s barriers.
They say charity begins at home
I say productivity begins at home
Government says re-training begins at home
I say alternatives begin at home.
Who needs broadband to
Archive a manÂ’s own stuff?
All I need is my trusty
Rubber band.
My grandsonÂ’s in prison
I visit him via Ah LeongÂ’s webcam
I cannot touch his hand
Only the creaky lens.
I need two hundred pages
Of useless help guides
To learn how to
Type two pages.
I was king of the pile
Teachers loved my penmanship
Now IÂ’m berated,
For appalling typing.”

Hello world
From the day I was born, Im very sure that I've never done something regrettable.
Whimsical, naughty,silly,slightly evil..Yes.Regerettable....erm..No.
Therefore I shall keep my heart open.Never can I close my heart to her.
Sometimes, I feel like a fool, what if there are others out there who love me?
I ask myself, is she worth the pain and agony?Yes.
But if others want me to love them, prove to me that you are more worthy of the stinging acid burning through my
innocent heart.
Maybe then, things might change?For Rachel, she need not prove anything to me.
She has proven.My sorrow and baleful mourns have passed her with flying colours.
Rach, you told me you wanted to fly away to Japan or even to the Big Apple with me.We wanted to go to the rooftop of the Empire State Building and yell anything, like two schoolkids on summer vacation.
Its not too late.
Im not selfish.Just confident that you and I will not regret this in the long run.

I see that in your eyes, the same ones that blessed my life one year ago in Changi Airport.

A teary clown
Smiles and laughter filled the air,
as truth untold is never shared,
the painted face that always smiles,
with teary eyes,
hidden and not found,
pieces of puzzles joined together,
the final truth will soon uncover.
A love so strong that it aches deep in,
Looking at the scene that will never become me,
A song that plays for the lonely heart,
which is always there,
For the blind to see.
Wearing a mask,
She looks ahead,
Smiling towards her prince charming,
Whom i dare say is holding on,
To the love of his life,
the beauty queen.
If I were the teary clown,
IÂ’ll wipe off the mask which shows all smiles,
Looking ahead for my enchanted rose,
Who has eyes on me and no one else.
Bless the heaven,
He soon realize,
The bitter tears that is filled inside,
A new found love,
Slowly sips in,
Revealing the beauty that is kept unseen. -

Memoirs of Time
In the arms of the sorrowful midst of ages,
I stood before an album of photographs,
Flipping over the tattered pages,
Fumbling through pictures,
Agony.
The first page were my childhood and my family,
Beneath the yellowish ancient photographs of then,
Was a tale encasing many,
Pain beyond suffering,
Torn.
My father in the high heavens far away from me,
My mother buried deep within the earth,
A hurt always will be,
Swallowing my saliva,
Tears.
The photographs were a painting of time long ago,
A memory that weaved passion in us,
Binding together joy and sorrow,
Whispers of past,
Devoured. -

Strolling along the forest path
I chance upon a curious sight
Just beside a winding river
Two rocks lay side by side
Like two young runaway lovers
Madly in love with each other
Lock in an everlasting kiss

Dreaming of her,
i always have,
waking up in hope,
for she will be there,
but life is never,
simple it may seem,
for hope vanishes,
with every minute ticks.
A love cocoon,
so thick and strong,
built with tender,
and ever-lasting faith,
but never before,

when the shield depletes,
and slowly fades.
i questioned my love,

Filament Dreams
And even if I see
the bright blinding bulb
that lights up your hovel;
should I hide
behind your apron strings
that tie themselves
in gordian knots,
tunneling through my knitted
heart..
Why do you confuse me so?
It was a lovely monday
when I first saw you
Irish and sweet.
The air must have been
such a blessing
for I raised my indolent eyes
and cast my eyes
all-wondrous
at your simple gait.
Months might have galloped
like an Ethiopian
doing his daily task,
scuffing his heels in the harsh
sands..
sands that i would gladly walk on
just to reach your seat of power.
And when i reached the finish line
you were there
and I saw you smile
like a cute athlete who
suddenly learnt that
dimples...were the best thing
that God hath wrought.
We took that ticker tape
and it was our ring
the knot that bound
us in pain, misery
and salient joy.
Wind in my face
sunlight in your eyes
just two birds in the auburn sky.
Even when i flew the coop
and left the nest
you kept me alive
my 24-hour call center
my soul's chicken soup
you were.
But one stormy day
the hail finally fell
and i was succulent picking
for the Gods of Irony
the chill still feeds on me today
as my every fibre
recalls when your words
once a elixir, now
a thorn so sharp
and true.
Now you appear
as a wraith
sometimes here
other times like the
lost origin of chainmails
and when i recall ..
all those days in the sun
now the shadow have moved in

DespondencyÂ’s Knight
No good moon
Ever shines over my heart,
For the pitted nature of life
Hath trapped me in its depth.
Since I descended
Into the hellish fire of
Despair.
Once I stared at you,
Calming and ever present.
Now your unwitting malevolence
Threatens to bowl me over.
This undertaken journey to
Walk your dusty ground.
Lore of times

Mined hallways of the soul.
Crippled acuity
And molted action
Forming a weave
Of inspiration.
Barbs vocal and visual,

The firers slam and belittle
Forgive them for they know not,

Even the upturned bikes
Seem orderly enough,
When your floors are children
Of a standard grey heritage
Whose DNA is cheaply auctioned
Like a package for two
Flying to over-clichéd Bangkok.
Your flowers bloom not from the sun
But by the hand of ones
Who never bounded in your joy,
Much less know your domicile.
But they spring up like rabbits
Albeit no hutch they have here
And the ones who call you
Home.
May one day be like rats;
They who made the Titanic famous
And bid that old man cry.
Freedom for us saints,
No taint of the white power,

where the rain comes in,

there are windows out high

to water the flowers out front..

The Void Deck Rhapsody
Sometimes the neighborÂ’s dog
Barks at the thundering rain
Like a bone
Strung away, unreachable.
The cats in my precinct
Yodel like the maker
Of pungent
Swiss cheese
Mice run around in gallant
Cheerfulness.
The old lady, wrinkled like
Her preserved cabbage,
Peels out rinds of money
For a piece of limp fish.
Her eyes swimming with
Memories
Of her dead son.
I glance into the
Naïve mind of
The newsstand,
Filled to the brim
Yet empty in the profit bowl.
A maze of myriad colors
Form a formal parade
Organic matter
Welcoming
Their new recruits.
Threads of deep wounds
And the scars of happiness
Are like a stuffed capon
Hard and unyielding
Fallen foe. -

Fragile Supernova
And why did you
Have to snuff out that brazier?
So warm,
Inviting, though
Deadly to a moth
And men of the cloth.
Did you not think of
The rosy sunrise?
Of the robinÂ’s mating call
While you ate
Your proverbial toast
And the juice of the world
Trickling blissfully
Into a stream.
Irony was your mistress
Not harsh like the moon
But even Heinlein would
Have shook his flinty face.
Moreover, you see the storm
That descended regally
On the stone
Grassy colonnaded plinth,
Barely a pint of your worth
It washed in vain
Through my tears,
An albatross of my own flaws
A Judas of my heart.

This packaged world
No doubt be the greying of your eyes
But every cheap cardboard
Lies a trace of past color..

Cardio.Flux
Sometimes, you're never there
but my heart still beats.
It beats like a life
once lost, now in limbo
and you see it my eyes
that it only seeks
your caress,your wonder
and is that something
you can give ?
Our smiles do tick
like a clock, full of batteries
hah.
Did you change the time
so abruptly
that I no longer know
if its day or
night?
And like a whispering stream
your gentle essence doth are
I would jump in,
to be touched
like a dull carbon piece
on the verge of becoming
a diamond.
So, if you find your heaven

Sticky Candy
Tears of sorrow filled the air
Knowing that someone will never be there
A person long gone can never be seen
Leaving the memories to be relived
Through the years that have passed by
You, my love, is always by my side
Fighting my sorrows, sadness and tears
Making me feel better with your cheers
Hearing the news of you away,
My heart breaks with wanning ache
Anguish, regrets struck my mind
Realizing the years youÂ’re left behind
With the times when IÂ’m away,
You must have suffered in darkening days
Loss of words to express myself
For I have walked pass your gloomy days
I set my foot on the very last day
Weeping no tears as IÂ’m finally awake
Feeling your presence then I slowly realized
You will always be there, by my side
To my undying friend,
Forever you live.
With happy memories,
Together, we shall be
A poem dedicated to a friend whom I never learnt to cherish until the day when its too late. She passed awayÂ… I hope she will led a wonderful life, away from sorrow, sadness and tears. Like a sleeping beauty, peaceful and living happily ever afterÂ…. -
