Truth is, marriage can be overturned like a contract.
We must understand that women and men are alike, when they get something after contributing so much, they expect a return of something, thus, an emotional support, a financial support etc.
And thus, since relationship is about devoting their hearts to it, men and women expect their partners to commit themselves and will not let others affect their lives.
Thus, this fragment, this brittle belief that a marriage means consent by the other party will somehow form a nucleus of beliefs that it is an achievement in their lives, it'll somehow also stress the importance of another's willingness to support them throughout their lives.
However, like I mentioned many times, everything in this world is a tool. The marriage certificate is a tool to prevent men and women from going astray with the laws restraining them.
It's a protection for both parties, and also a weapon to force another party to submit to his/her beliefs in life. -
