Singer BoA (17) has reached the top gaining more popularity in Japan than in Korea and recently talked about her anxiety and pressure she felt when she first debuted in Japan. BoA has just recently released her first photobook 'Naturelle' in Japan which contains 160 pages.
In this photobook BoA reveals her troubles during her debut days in Japan.
She personally wrote, "When I first debuted in Japan, I got a lot of stress and felt much anxiety. Singing and dancing to my debut song 'ID; Peace B' in an unfamiliar language was very hard. I couldnt even understand whenever someone pointed out mistakes and whenever I had an interview I was always replying nervously. When my schedules finished and I came home I was so tired and exhaustion always caught up to me."
'Naturelle' which is published through Japanese Wani Books showcased BoA who travelled to a foreign country at the young age of 14 and became successful and her stories with her work and music together with pictures in various poses and expressions. The photos in this photobook were taken last September in France.
In order to promote this photobook BoA held a fanmeeting in Tokyo Hookaesoh which became a great success even for Japan with 1000 people gathering. This fanmeeting which opened as a 'Handshake event' went for a duration of about 1 hour and 30 minutes where the teen pop idol shook hands with about 1000 of her fans.
BoA is currently promoting her recently released album 'Rock With You' which was released in Korea and Japan simultaneously and next year on January 15, her third album 'Love and Honesty' will be released and a nationwide tour concert will be held in 5 cities in Japan.
This album is set to be released in 3 different countries; Japan, China, and Korea and will engage the Asian star with busy schedules.
