ITE probes complaint against teacher for showing pornography

SINGAPORE : The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) said it was investigating a complaint that a male teacher showed pornographic videos to a class during school hours.
A female student, who has since quit school, claimed the teacher had been showing the videos up to three times a week since March.
He had told the 17-year-olds it was to help them relax.
The ITE refused to say which of its 10 schools is at the centre of this controversy.
The ITE teacher, who has been accused of showing his students porn movies in class, has been suspended from teaching.
He also allegedly invited two female students home for extra lessons.
When news of the allegations broke, public condemnation was swift.
A middle-aged lady said: "What is our education system all about? They are sent to schools to learn and if this is happening in schools, then how are they going to grow up as future citizens of Singapore?"
One man said: "This is not right because you should teach students the right values."
In February, two male teachers were sent to jail for sex-related offences.
One was sentenced to seven years behind bars for having sex 18 times with his then 14-year-old student.
Another was jailed for 16 months for having oral sex, also with a 14-year-old. - CNA -

There are all kinds of ppl in Singapore with sex in their mind. Some are like that one. But for a teacher to play such things to students its too much lah.
