Although yunzhongzi's first time was taken by Ah Ma. He didn't mind it. Their love blossomed after the first candlelight dinner. yunzhongzi was the 'Hao Hao Xian Sheng' in Ah Ma's fantasies. She could not resist his charming smile, charming thick eyebrows. His squarish jaws and small captivating eyes. Wearing a tee under his long sleeve shirt, yunzhongzi reminded Ah Ma of her childhood fantasy. He was Clark Kent, the Man of Steel. He was the dazzling splitting image of Tom Welling/Christopher Reeve, or rather an Oriental deviation of it..., and in her eyes only.
To her, it seemed that he may tear open his tight fitting shirt and fly into the skies and bring her out of Singapore, the cursed island. The fringe, neatly combed with an 'S', flying around with the red underwear he usually wear whenever he attends any KTV outings over his blue skin-tight latex coverall. (Of course, that were her fantasies only.)
However, our 'superhero' was less fascinated by our old lady. He was more concern of his other pursuits. Indeed, there were too much things that must be done before settling down. He had ambitions and desires that he kept within himself. He knew what he wanted and Ah Ma was out of the list!
His eyes rolled as he denied their secret relationship. He was not ready but she was pressing him. There was something holding him back from getting real serious with Ah Ma. (The stench of the toilet, perhaps?) He knew she would always ask that question which he evaded for so long.
'How was dinner?' she asked him.
The thunder struck. No, there was no rain.
'I must leave, Ah Ma,' he lied, 'I need to go back to the office.'
