i was wif my frens @ orchard @ abt 9pm and we were all heading to somerset MRT station... going home. At that time, i was still holding a half full cup wif ho-link. And i was e only wif drinks... den s i apporach the gates.... i ping min drink till no more xcept ice... den wif e empty cup on my hand, i passed e gates. IMMEDIATELY the station controller came out den ask mi go there.... i was totally shocked!! wad e hell does he wans?? den he also siao 1 la... tink tat he's policeman or wad... he talked 2 mi like i m a convict sia... he asked my where i m heading... den my sch.... den age... knn sia realli tink he's police... after that he asked mi wad m i going 2 do wif e cup... den i said throw away @ my departing station la!!! he reply...I DUN TINK SO...I TINK YOU"RE GOING TO DRINK IN THE STATION IF I DUN STOP U!!! he said he tink!! he assume lor... den i was looking @ e empty cup....tinking wad can i drink... den i was "asked" 2 take IC... fuck man!! he told mi i can b fined 4 5000..... den he looked n acted like he realli wanna issue sia.... act till da pai... den i was booked s 1st offender... 4 an empty cup wif ice...... fucker.... after been noted down... i was tinking wad he's gotta do abt e cup... i was tinking mayb he help mi throw since no food n drinks allowed...... my wishy tots... he was onli concern abt e booking rather den the cup.... he didn't do anyting abt e cup... wad sia... damn!! i put it in my bag den chao!!!
if i put e cup in my bag..it will not turn out tis way....
i seriously dun like the attitude he gave mi.... SMRT...
although i admit i didn't voice out 4 myself much as i was too shocked.... never tot tis would happen...... -
You should have complained... They remind their staff to be courtest when advising commuters. Such rude behaviour should not be condoned and not saying in a threatening manner

gt one morning i eating sandwich then reaching mrt....i eat quickly then finished when i was takin the escalator up to platform..then left the plaastic bag wana throw bt canot find dustbin...then later i saw the securtiy guard pointing at me ..canot hear wat he tryin to say.was hearing earpone then tink he pointed the coming train to me then i saw the train come gona b late liao if i dn board then i jus throw my plastic bag on his hand..n enter the train liao lor....dono is he scolding me or wat dn bother to take off my earpone to hear aso...aiya nw mrt realy no dusbin no convenient leh...wana throw tings aso canot then come say we litter ah bt tink u v suay tu tio tat one is so chao ji guai lan............

They remove the bins as to prevent bombs... Your fault, you got bag, dun want to put the cup into the bag. Find trouble by carrying the cup n your hand. So you make yourself look like a potential target when you could have avoided all that.

First, You are wrong to bring the cup into a mrt stn, be it SMRT or NEL. He scold you he not wrong...
Secondly, how old are you leh?
Third... if you want to take back revenge, follow my steps below:
-Login to SMRT website, send email to their CEO ( if you dare). Her name is Miss Saw. Otherwise any high ranking staff will do.
-Pls remember to provide date it happens, time, location of station, race and description of that 'rude' staff, name of that staff if possible.
-Provide accurate details of what happened that day and the words or sentences he used.
I can confirm you if your email reaches any top management staffs.....that rude staff's head will roll.
SMRT launch their Vision Mission Core Values last year to provide a safe and relieable trip.....(something like that, I forgot the actual sentences), it is something to do with giving you commuters a safe, good travel with a low breakdown % of trains etc etc.

Read the story in detail, the first 4 lines. He drank as fast as he could to finish his drink from his cup as he approached the gates. Left with just the ice, he passed the gates where he was stopped.
