wa, jin long pleaded not guilty in court, lnx acted so well here and also when he was with xiao gu in the meeting room, both acting so superb, old ginger still the best.

and i think everyone did a good job in acting while showing the struggles and emotions in their hearts. it's so real!
for example, we can see xiao gu's love for all her children.
we can feel tph's panicked feelings whenever the truth threatens to spill. his small lie have to be covered with more and bigger and longer lies....it's neverending. and he has to get other people to act according to his plan so that his lie can last longer and be more believable.
and then jinlong, i just love him la!
and kaida...so poor thing. he loves all his siblings. what a struggle inside his heart. don't know who to side and help. what is right and what is wrong etc.
even jinfeng acted well, in my opinion! i could really feel the youth and innocence she was giving out. very young...too inexperienced to see how the world was really like...then by the time she grew up a little, it was all too late. she was like not a girl, not yet a woman that kind of age. a bit of innocence already lost, but not totally yet. so still have that kind of childlike thoughts now and then.
love this show! been years since i've been hooked onto mediacorp dramas! watched this because i love li nanxing! hehe. no regrets! -

I have to give credits to the script writer for incorporating all the elements of HK soap drama in the TGP.
Coupled with good actor selection, the show have captured the mass audience, young and old.
Point proven on it is more than pretty face to be a actor.
Experience in veteran actors plays a critical role.
The most difficult role should be the role of Ka Jie.
But, TPH did not really protray the evilness of the character as he seem to be more reserved and should let go more.
Maybe it is his face or his style of character interpretation.
I guess he must be hiding at home now as I believe he will be scolded every time he is spotted by auntie on the street. -

ya, me too...it has been quite a long time since I sit down in front of the tv at 9pm punctually to seriously watch a local drama throughout. I like LNX's acting, especially his scenes with Lin fei and xiao gu. Veterans are still the best, last night his dui shou xi with Chen Liping was so real and touching, their dialogue in the detention meeting room was so �k�ž, LNX expression in this scene and in court was so superbly good and when he told the prosecutor that yes, he still think his father was a hero, wa, that's power la!
Chen Liping also did a very good job in the meeting with LNX, wa.........I really hope MCS will realise the good acting of these veterans and not only give us those shallow and unexperienced acting of young artistes but also from these older artistes too, their acting make this drama more watchable. -
Jinlong gonna be jailed 20yrs for attempted murder on hai-ge.

I missed last night episode, then I go Mobtv to watch. Then I saw they Episode 26 then 29 and 30. What happen to 27 and 28.. anybody know ??
