Haiz win singapore Idol so what? Not like they can become real superstars. Look at the winners of idol 1 and 2? What happen to them? Where or who will they market them to?
At least the chinese singing competitions on channel U give the winners and people who they think have "potential" or marketing appeal exposure to the taiwan industry. Recently some of the previous chinese singers who won the chinese singing competitions on channel U got sent to 超级星光大�5 Which is like the taiwan Idol singing competition for a PK competition with the contestants. Out of the 4 sent, 3 of them made singapore proud and left a lasting impression on the taiwan judges.
Even Kelly Poon already got her album kicking in taiwan.
With such exposure given, at least theres a chance for them..even if its just a small one.
Then you look at the past winners of singapore idol...people like taufik, hardy and the guy who won the talent time competition..whats his name arr? Darren something...cant remember...WTH happened to them man? I'm not saying these guys can't sing...I'm just pissed off with the lack of "exposure" or opportunity they are given...win already so what?.........

I think Singapore Idol is just for show only wor....
Just to let people "outside" of singapore know that we're a country with a sense of humour.....not the all serious no humour stereo type that have been overshadowing us for decades.
I mean look at bananna man from idol 1....and that guy who sang ghost buster on idol 3...really epic man...almost as good as william hung from american idol =)

i find all 3 from sg one damn good, those 10 from 超级星光大�5 should be afraid of.
esp that small girlgirl, somemore all 3 from sg kinda young as compare to them, right?
