Singapore and Malaysian TV

In Singapore, we can only get one Malaysian channel, RTM 1, through our SCV socket. If we need to watch other channels such as RTM 2, TV3, ntv7, 8TV and Channel 9, we will need to use antenna to receive them.
In Malaysia, especially in Johor, they are free to receive all of our Singapore channels, and as crystal clear as we watch our Singapore channels.
Why is this so? Why can we watch RTM 1 only through our SCV socket? -
It is so unfair! Anyway I think Singapore ones are so much better than M'sia In My Opinion.

Then unplug it out of the scv socket and plug in an antenna. Its only Johor, not the entire Malay Peninsula.

While in SG, it's because of location... Anyway, we are ok abt it as they prefer watching Singapore TV as of full chinese channel available...
And when I go to Yong Peng or Spg Rengam, I can watch SG TV, dun miss home -
Nowadays TV3, 8TV and Ch 9 started to produce quality programmes. As for NTV7, signal too weak liao, I have wrote to them to tell them to boast up the transmission signal from the tower on top of Gunug Pulai, but until now, still no reply.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:It is so unfair! Anyway, I still prefer more on sg TV, only tune in to TV3, 8TV or Ch 9 for their documentaries or news sometimes, or when sg TV showing lousy shows. -
Agree. Sg TV can also be watched at places as far as Melaka, Muar or Tangkak. Anyway, we also have Indonesian channels, SCTV, RCTI, TVRI, TPI and Metro TV. Ch 9: 10pm 12 or 1am
TV3: 6pm 7pm
TV2: 7pm 8.30pm
NTV7: 5pm 6.30pm, 9pm 10.10pm, 12.30am 1.30am
NTV7 got show Mediacorp drama. -

Now u know why singapore are slow in service, etc. Becos they like to drag thing and hot temper just like fiery thunderbolt. malaysia never telecast this show. even china is catching up, telecast "I have a date with vampire 3". our country has become country pumpkin just like taiwan country pumpkin drama and china long ago history show. Becos it take too much time and can't telecast other show until it end and somemore repeat it. And it will become worse. Singapore had to resort to casino becos local drama had oso become taiwan country pumpkin drama. So boring and pathethic, can't sell/export to other countries, money flow out and not flow in, economy confirm bad lah.

In the past, we could receive TV2. In some parts of WDL & SBW, people could pick up stray TV3 signals and still do. Wonder if these folks can receive TV2 as well.

My guardroom can receive RCTI , TVRI and TV3.

As long as the antenna is facing the right direction situated on a certain height, we can get TV1, TV2, TV3, ntv7 and 8tv. Even my place also can receive them. -

As long as the antenna is facing the right direction situated on a certain height, we can get TV1, TV2, TV3, ntv7 and 8tv. Even my place also can receive them. -

I see... My aunties house at JB cannot get MY TV signal clearly when esp on heavy raining days... They say because RTM is at KL -
