Chen Tianwen and Shen Jing Xing as Naval Divers..
One of the highlights of the show was a hijack incident, which was resolved by combat divers namely Chen and Shen, with Shen shot in the process (and surviving)
Wang Guan Wu as the NSW gunner who later volunteered to go for NDU training..He was injured in the ear during a boxing match and this caused him to have an accident during on of the training sessions...Becos of this, he was OOC and Chen and Shen were charged and demoted...
Li Wen Hai starred as the CO of an MGB before taking up the appointment as the CO of NDU in the show. He was later slated for command of the newly commissioned MCV...It was also at this time which he resolved the differences with his wife..
Tang Hu was casted as Zoe Tay's father in the show, as well as a Coxswain (read: Encik).. -

Well, I actually thought that the Channel U series (Chong Jing Sen Ling and "Be Somebody") were actually not bad...
Mediacorp shows nowadays mostly all about family etc etc.. -

it's just another wayang show showcasing RSN's capabilities, walfare for soldiers etc. in one of the episode, darren lim's character wants to quit the navy, in the end after much persuasions from everyone he decided to stay on. things like this very easy to see how they are trying to encourage people to sign on.
but the last 2 episode about divers are not bad.

Hmm...They were formed supposedly in 84 but it was only in 2000 when they actually merged with CCD
